Laozi once said: soldiers, weapons and saints should be used.

Confucian benevolence and righteousness have long been immersed in bone marrow, and Wang Yangming was not happy to see casualties everywhere on the battlefield. But he knows that blind regret is meaningless. Only by putting down the rebellion quickly can more people be saved from harm.

Wang Yangming's disciples once asked him how to get rid of weeds in his heart.

Wang Yangming answered: the grass is in the way, so if you want to go, go; Even if I don't go at once, I'm not tired.

If it means physical and mental exhaustion, there will be a lot of angry places, and weeds are harmful. Of course, you must clean it up, but if you don't clean it up occasionally, don't take it to heart. The more you care, the more chaotic you are, staring at that weed.

Then my heart will be full of distractions.

Life is unhappy, nine times out of ten. Everyone has negative emotions, so we must know how to let them go in time.

Always entangled in negative emotions, the whole person can only be controlled by emotions.

Don't remonstrate with the past, but you can still pursue the future. Don't be immersed in regret, let go of the past and embrace the future.

Abandon prejudice

There is such a story in Wang Yangming's Biography. It is said that when Yangming traveled to Nanzhen, his students pointed to the flower tree in the rock and asked him: What does such a flower tree have to do with my heart and the world?

Wang Yangming replied: When you didn't see this flower, it died with your heart. When you look at this flower, the color of this flower suddenly becomes clear. You will know that this flower is not outside your heart.

There is no such thing as carelessness. Everything is the projection of the human heart. What you see is what's in your heart.

When Su Shi was young, he meditated with Fo Yin.

Su Shi felt that he had made great progress and said to Fo Yin, "Master, what do you think I look like sitting here?"

Fo Yin said, "It looks like a Buddha."

Su Shi smiled and said, "But I think you look like a pile of shit!"

Fo Yin smiled and said nothing.

After returning home, Su Shi told Su Xiaomei about it.

Su Xiaomei said after listening: I am a Buddha, and others will be like Buddha; If you are shit, you will treat others like shit, and your realm is far less than Jackson Fo Yin's. lz 16.cn

Others are their own mirrors. You are what others think of you.

If you are prejudiced against others, you must find fault with others everywhere, because your own realm is not enough. Later, Su Shi was exiled for half his life. He said: I can live up to the jade emperor, and I can accompany the beggars in Tianyuan to "see that there are no bad people in the world."

Wang Yangming once said: Seeing that the streets are full of saints, if a person has a quiet heart, abandons inner prejudice and believes in the beauty of the world, then everything he sees is naturally beautiful.

Pour out greed

There are only two things in the world that you can't look directly at: one is the sun and the other is the human heart.

People are naturally kind, but as they grow up, their hearts are polluted by secular desires, covered by material desires, and gradually become greedy and cunning.

Therefore, practice is to subtract the inner greed and let the original conscience appear.

Wang Yangming said: we study hard, only seeking to reduce the number of days, not to increase the number. Less human desire, more justice. How easy it is! lz 16.cn

Kung fu is decreasing, not increasing. The so-called decreasing is to remove the obscurity of material desires; If people's desires are reduced, they will return to the ontology of conscience. You should reduce your desires and don't care too much about gains and losses. In this world, fame and fortune are all things outside the body. They can't be taken away when they are alive, and they can't be taken away when they are dead.

Misfortunes are unpredictable. These things are easy to get and easy to lose. What's the use of caring?

Tao Te Ching says: Five colors make people blind; Five-tone deafness, five flavors are cool; Riding in the wild makes people crazy; Rare goods are an obstacle.

The more a person wants, the more he calculates, the more uneasy he is physically and mentally, and he can only be anxious all day long.

There are many big houses in Shanxi, which were once brilliant, but now the people who hold the keys are irrelevant.

People run around for external things all day, suffering from loss and suffering, and finally lose their inner peace and become prisoners of desire. Giving up everything, accompanying his wife and children, being filial to his parents and being close to nature are really the essence of happiness in life.

Don't take gains and losses too seriously, just let nature take its course and keep your mind at peace.
