On May 9th and 69th, we look at willows by the river, on 79th the frozen river opens, on 89th the swallows return, on 99th and 19th, cattle are everywhere.

"Nine-Nine", also known as "Winter Nine-Nine", is a folk solar term in winter in my country.

"1929, don't take action" means that winter has come, and you should put your hands in your trouser pockets to keep warm; "3949, walk on ice" means that it is the coldest time of the year, and the river has frozen. "5969 Looking at the willows along the river" means that spring is coming and the willow trees will begin to sprout.

"Seventy-nine rivers bloom and eighty-nine wild geese come" means that spring has officially begun, and the wild geese have begun to fly back from the south;

"Nine-nine plus one-nine, the cattle are everywhere." Indicates that spring plowing time has arrived.
