A talk about cleaning for the Chinese New Year

1. The New Year cleaning took a week and finally came to a perfect end. It is no exaggeration to say that the trash cans in my house are clean enough to be used as snack bins. The house is really spotless.

2. This house has finally been tidied up and it’s time to move on to the next one. There’s no stopping the New Year cleaning.

3. New Year’s cleaning is a ritual for peace of mind. The guests are even sloppier than before the cleaning.

4. When I am exhausted, doing New Year’s shopping and getting ready for the New Year, I am so preoccupied with gains and losses that I no longer care about the gains and losses. A healthy life is easier than the New Year, and a quiet life is happier.
