Unexpected customs and folk customs of Ji'an
Hello everyone, today I will tell you about the customs and customs of Ji'an
First, let's introduce the tour routes and attractions
Day 1 Jinggangshan - Ciping Scenic spots
1. Jinggangshan
Jinggangshan is located in Ji'an City. When people mention Jinggangshan, they usually think of the "cradle of the Chinese revolution". However, in addition to the red revolutionary relics, the green natural scenery here is also very eye-catching, and it is even more charming when the azaleas bloom all over the mountain in April and May. Many tourists simply label the scenic spots in Jinggangshan as "red" and "green" to distinguish them. The "red tour" is to understand the history and increase knowledge; the "green tour" is mainly to see the scenery. Of course, you can also take a "colorful journey" with both.
The entire Jinggangshan Scenic Area is divided into 11 sub-scenic areas, of which the core ones are Ciping, Huangyangjie, Main Peak, Dujuan Mountain (Beacon Mountain) and Longtan. There are 4 sightseeing bus lines in the scenic area that go to and from the main attractions. The tickets are included in the ticket and can be used multiple times within the validity period. All scenic spots adopt a one-ticket system, including 21 scenic spots such as Huangyangjie, Longtan, Baizhuyuan, and Jinggangshan Mint (valid for 5 days and can be extended upon application). Tickets can be purchased at the tourist service center at the end of Taijing Expressway, Beacon Hill parking lot, Maoping Jingou Bay, and Ciping Nanshan Road.
Traveling to Jinggangshan usually takes 1-3 days. Due to the large scope, self-driving cars cannot enter the main scenic spots, so most tourists will stay in Ciping in the center and use this as a base camp to take sightseeing buses. Ciping is to Jinggangshan what Kuling is to Lushan. The town has everything from five-star hotels to ordinary guesthouses priced at one or two hundred yuan. The best ones are near Tianjie, where most of the food, accommodation and shopping are concentrated, and the night view is beautiful. In addition, this is also the sightseeing bus terminal, and all tours depart from here.
Huangyangjie in the northwest of Ciping is a part that every visitor to Jinggangshan will not miss. If there is only one day, then it is usually reserved for line A where Huang Yangjie is located. You can take a bus to Huangyangjie Outpost in the morning. The scenery along the way is beautiful. From the top of the mountain, you can see the trail leading down the mountain, and maybe you can also see the classic sea of ??clouds in Huangyangjie.
Taking a bus from Huangyangjie to Ciping is Baizhuyuan-Longtan-Xiaojing (red and green), and further away is Maoping-Xiangshan Nunnery-Huishi Square-Longjiang Academy (red is Main), the drive between adjacent attractions does not take more than half an hour, and it does not take much time to visit each attraction. In contrast, there are more tourists heading towards Baizhuyuan. Jinggangshan Mint and Baizhuyuan are close to each other. In the mint, there is an introduction to the minting process of the year, and you can also see the coins made in that year; The Bamboo Garden is a green attraction. The tall and lush bamboos in the garden make people feel relaxed and happy. In Longtan, you can take the ropeway (round trip 60 yuan) to see a five-fold waterfall, which is one of the outstanding green landscapes in Jinggang Mountain. There is the former site of the Fourth Military Hospital of the Red Army in Xiaojing. Behind the hospital is the Tomb of the Martyrs, which is relatively close to Ciping Town.
Line B takes Ciping-Dajing-Shuikou. You can visit red attractions such as the former site of the Red Army Medical Clinic, and you can see farmland, waterwheels and other pastoral scenery next to it. What's special about Shuikou Waterfall is that when the sun is strong, you can see a rainbow hanging in front of the waterfall, which is very beautiful. Transferring from Dajing, there is a special line to Jingzhushan (half an hour), but there are very few people going there.
The above two routes can be arranged for two days, and you can choose a few tours you are interested in. If you have extra time when you return to town in the afternoon, the Ciping Revolutionary Sites near Jinggangshan Revolution Museum, Nanshan Park, Beishan Martyrs Cemetery, and Yicui Lake Park are good choices.
On the third day, you can take Line C to the main peak (7 kilometers). The highlight here is the Wuzhi Peak from a distance. It is the pattern on the back of the fourth set of 100 yuan RMB. You can take a photo of a hundred-yuan bill here. Take a standard photo, then return to Ciping and take a special line directly to Dujuan Mountain (Beacon Mountain). If you are in a hurry, you can go directly to Dujuan Mountain, which is regarded as the essence of Jinggangshan's green landscape. Take the cableway up the mountain, and the mountains below are full of green. In April and May, azaleas spread all over the mountains and fields under your feet, like a beautiful rainbow. When there is a sea of ??clouds in the morning, walking on the plank road on the cliff feels like being in a fairyland. If you have enough time, you can also visit Wuma Chaotian on your way back, the scenery is also good.
2. Ciping Scenic Area
Ciping is located in the center of Jinggangshan Scenic Area. It is not only part of the scenic area, but also has many red revolutionary sites and relics for you to visit. Clean town. Similar to Guling in Lushan Mountain, Ciping is the base camp for food, accommodation and transportation for Jinggangshan tourism. No matter how you come to Jinggangshan, your first stop must be here.
Jinggangshan Scenic Area Sightseeing Bus Terminal, Ciping Long-distance Station, and Railway Station-Ciping shuttle bus point are all in the town. Self-driving vehicles are not allowed to enter the main attractions, so even if you come by yourself, you can You must park your car in the town and transfer to the scenic sightseeing bus to go to the main attractions. The attractions in Ciping are included in the Jinggangshan Scenic Area admission ticket, and they are mainly red. If you are not particularly interested in the history of the Red Revolution, you can choose a few of the tours after the main tours end each day.
The town is not big, but it is crowded with buildings. There are many accommodation options, including the old Jingtai Hotel and Jinggangshan Hotel. It’s easy to find small shops that cost over a hundred dollars. Food and accommodation are concentrated in the Tianjie area to the north of the town center. There are also many small shops where you can buy local products, such as Jinggangshan red rice.
It only takes more than an hour to walk around Ciping Town. There are buses to and from the main attractions in the town, but there are fewer buses. Except for the distant Beishan Martyrs Cemetery (about 10 kilometers), it doesn’t take too long to walk between several other attractions.
The most concentrated attractions are the Ciping Revolutionary Site Group near Nanshan Road in the east. There are 7 old sites on display, including Mao Zedong’s former residence, the former site of the Fourth Red Army Military Headquarters, and the former site of the Ordnance Department of the Fourth Red Army. Although the little yellow house was rebuilt later, you can still appreciate the style of the old revolutionary area. There are many people visiting here. If you want to experience it quietly by yourself, you have to choose to visit in the morning and evening or in the off-season.
The Yicui Lake Park opposite the former site group is a very elegant green space in the town. In the middle of the park is a small artificial lake, surrounded by green trees. It feels good to take a walk here in the morning and evening. The Jinggangshan Revolution Museum to the west of the park is quite large-scale. Through pictures, texts and displays, as well as some sound and light effects, you can systematically understand the figures and their deeds during the revolutionary period. Visitors who like history should not miss it. Not far to the south of Yicui Lake Park, a sculpture of workers, peasants and soldiers on the top of Nanshan Park is its symbol. There are several sightseeing platforms nearby to enjoy the scenery.
Day 2 Dujuan Mountain (Beacon Mountain)
Dujuan Mountain is located in the south of Ciping and consists of the middle peak Yangmei Peak, the west peak Wangzhi Peak and the east peak Guandao Peak. Looking from a distance, the mountain looks like a penholder, so it is also called "Beacon Mountain". The "Ten Miles of Rhododendron Forest" here is the most famous. Rhododendrons bloom all over the mountain in April and May, making it the most outstanding natural landscape in Jinggang Mountain.
Ciping Terminal (Tourist Service Center) has a special line from Dujuan Mountain to the scenic spot. The journey takes about half an hour, which is very convenient. It should be noted that the Dujuan Mountain ticket is included in the Jinggangshan Scenic Area ticket, but there is no trail up the mountain. You need to take the scenic ropeway to and from the scenic area (160 yuan/person in peak season, 150 yuan/person in off-season). However, the cableway on Dujuan Mountain can be said to be very cost-effective. It takes about 25 minutes one way. The view from the cableway on the cascading green mountains below is amazing. Especially when the azaleas are in bloom, there is a sea of ??flowers under your feet.
The ropeway has three stations: upper, middle and lower. Among them, the middle station is a big turn of more than 100 degrees, which is slightly thrilling. After passing the middle station, you can see the outline of Dujuan Mountain. Start walking from the upper station of the ropeway and walk to the three-way road of Gubai Peak in about 20 minutes. This is the starting point and end point of Dujuan Mountain sightseeing. The trail on the left can only be entered under the guidance of a professional guide. The two trails on the right, one is a suspended plank road and the other is a wooden walking trail. The two are connected to form a ring near the large and small Songdao in the east. Tourists usually start their clockwise tour on the suspended plank road on the left. The road is easy to walk and you can enjoy the scenery along the way.
The suspended plank road faces the Bijiashan Canyon. There are 5 viewing platforms along the road, where you can view the backside of Wuzhi Peak and the canyon. Among them, there are several peaks of more than 100 meters standing around the No. 5 viewing platform in the east. Standing at the viewing point, you can see Peacock Peak and Stalagmite Peak in the distance, and the scenery is the most spectacular. Along the road there are several pictographic stones such as the General's Stone and the Golden Rooster's Dawning Stone, which look somewhat similar upon closer inspection.
The Big and Small Songdao behind No. 5 Observation Deck is famous for the concentration of extraordinary pines. There is an observation deck for tourists to take pictures of the extraordinary pine landscape from the best angle. The wooden plank road going back from Xiaosongdao is the trail for viewing the "Ten Mile Rhododendron Corridor". Walking along the trail in April and May is like walking in a sea of ??rhododendrons. There are many varieties of rhododendrons here. The most worth seeing is the "King of Rhododendron" near Yangmei Peak. It is a super large Hericium rhododendron. 44 rhododendrons surround an umbrella-shaped pine tree that is thousands of years old.
During the rest of the tour, there are several pictographic rocks that can be admired and photographed, such as the Buddha pointing to the sky and the toad screaming in the sky. Go all the way to the end of the wooden boardwalk and return to Gubai Peak. Walk back to the upper station of the ropeway and then take the ropeway down the mountain. The special bus to Ciping on the return journey will pass by Wumachaotian. If you have enough time, you can get off the bus and visit. In summer, you can also raft at the foot of Dujuan Mountain, usually for 100 yuan/person.
