Brief introduction of Jinan Yellow River Bridge

Jinan Yellow River Bridge is located in the northern suburb of Jinan City, Shandong Province. The bridge officially broke ground in February 1978 and was completed and opened to traffic in July 1982. The bridge consists of a main bridge and an approach bridge, with a total length of 2023.44 meters and a main bridge length of 488 meters. The main bridge is a prestressed concrete continuous beam cable-stayed bridge. There are five spans, of which the largest span is 220 meters, which is the longest span bridge in Asia at that time, ranking eighth among the top ten prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridges in the world at that time. The bridge deck is divided into lanes and sidewalks, with a total width of 19.5m and four lanes in both directions, of which the carriageway 15m.
