I know. What if the door closer is too tight?

It is too tight. You can adjust yourself!

Adjusting the tightness of the door closer means adjusting the closing speed. When the power is high, the speed will be fast, and when the power is low, the door closer will close slowly.

Adjusting the closing speed of the door closer is to control the closing speed of the two-stage door closer independently through two hydraulic valves for full-stage hydraulic control.

Adjustment methods and precautions:

(1) Generally, there is a regulating valve marked 1.2 on the lateral side of the door closer. Speed 1 is the closing speed of adjusting the opening angle of the door leaf from 90 degrees to 20 degrees, and speed 2 is the speed of adjusting the opening angle of the door leaf from 20 degrees to 0 degrees, that is, the speed when the door is completely closed.

(2) When adjusting, if the valve screw is tightened (adjusted clockwise), the speed will slow down, that is, the closing force of the door closer will decrease.

(3) If the valve screw is loosened (adjusted counterclockwise), the speed will increase, that is, the closing force of the door closer will increase. When adjusting, the amplitude must be controlled within a small range, and the strength of the door leaf should be tested every time. If the amplitude is too large, the screw may be loosened, resulting in oil leakage of the door closer.
