"You should know that for the material things and spiritual things in this world, I am the starting point and the end. O winner of wealth! Like silk threads stringing pearls, I connect all things, and there is no one higher than me. Truth."

"O son of Kunti (Arjuna)! I am the taste of water, the light of the sun and the moon, the syllable Om of the Vedic mantra, the sound of space (elements), the voice of man. Talent. I am the original scent of earth, the heat of fire, the life of living beings, the ascetic’s son. Know that I am the original seed of all existence, the wisdom of the wise, and the ability of the capable. O overlord (Arjuna)! I am the power of the strong without lustful thoughts, and I am the sexual partner who does not deviate from religious dharma."

"My power appears in the form of goodness, in the form of lust. , the form of ignorance, to a certain extent, I am all, but independent, and not among the forms of material nature. Due to the blindness of the three forms (kindness, lust, and ignorance), the mortal world cannot understand that I have jumped out of the three forms. , boundless. The three forms of material nature make up my divine power, which is really difficult to surpass. Anyone who takes refuge in me can easily surpass it."

"There are four types of villains who do not take refuge in me, and they are classified as fools. Foolish people, wise men who are misled by illusions, and unbelievers with evil intentions. O leader of Bharata (Arjuna), there are four categories of devotees who are busy in my devotional service, namely: The best among those who are suffering, those who seek wealth, those who are curious, those who seek to understand the truth, is none other than the wise man who is connected with me in his devotional service and is omniscient. He is my Beloved. , I am His Beloved. The above devotees are undoubtedly open-minded souls, and I will remain among those who know Me, and who are busy in transcendental service to please Me, who will know the truth and take refuge in me through life after life. I know clearly that I am the source of all things. Such a great soul is indeed rare in the world."

"The distortion of material desires will make people convert to gods. What kind of mentality do converts have? I am the supersoul in everyone's heart. Whoever wants to worship the god will have his faith firmly established and be loyal to that god. May the god bless him. May, in fact, all these graces come from myself and no one else. The less intelligent worshiper of the Devas will gain little and fleetingly, but worshiping the Devas will reach the stars of the Devas, and my devotees will eventually reach My supreme star. ”

“Those who are not very intelligent and don’t know who I am think that my appearance and character are assumptions. Due to their lack of knowledge, they cannot figure out my unchangeable and unreachable divinity.” . I will not appear to less wise fools, so I hide behind my immortal creative power (Yoga Maya), and the world is kept in the dark, wondering how I can have no faults and no birthdays. ”

“Arjuna! As the Supreme Personality of Godhead, I know everything, whether things are in the past, present or future. I recognize every living being, but no one recognizes me. O descendant of Bharata (Arjuna)! Those who attack the enemy! All living beings are always kept in the dark under the relative concepts of love, hate, and hatred. ”

“In the past and present life, you have done good deeds and accumulated virtues, but you will not commit any sins or sins. Only by dispelling any doubts about relative concepts can you remain faithful and busy serving me.”

A wise man can distinguish what is transcendental affairs and what is pursuit of merit, and then he is busy in devotional service to me, striving to end aging and death and achieve liberation. This is Brahma. ”

Arjuna asked: “My master! O Supreme One! What is Brahman? What is the true self? Why pursue merit? What is the appearance of the mortal world? What is a god? I hope you can explain a few things. Madusudhana! How does the Lord of sacrifice dwell within the body? Where do you live? How can one who is busy in your devotional service recognize you at the last moment? ”

The Supreme One said: “The living entity that is transcendent and will not disappear is called Brahman, its eternal nature is called the Self, and the behavior related to promoting the physical body is called the pursuit of merit (karma). ). The appearance of the mortal world is changeable, the entire universe is the proposed image of the Supreme Lord (the image of all gods), and I, as the Supersoul, dwell in the heart of every troubled soul. ”

“Whoever thinks only of me at the last moment of abandoning the body will be of the same substance as me, there is no doubt about it. No matter what scene comes to mind when you abandon the physical body, you will be able to experience it in the next life. Arjuna! If you think of my form of Krishna, fulfill your assigned duty of fighting, dedicate your work to Me, and fix your heart and wisdom on Me, you will undoubtedly come to Me. When one meditates on the Supreme Personality of Godhead and thinks of Me consistently and with one heart, without partiality, O Part (Arjuna)! You will surely come to me. "

"As a human being, one should meditate on the Supreme Being in this way: He knows everything, is the oldest, controls everything, sustains everything, is smaller than the smallest thing, is inconceivable, transcends the concept of matter, and always retains human form. , radiant like the rising sun, otherworldly, not within material nature. "

"At the moment of death, if a person holds his breath between the eyebrows and thinks of the Supreme Lord with devotion, he will surely come to the side of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The scholar of the Vedas and the great sage who has renounced the caste can enter the Brahma realm by chanting Om (Om Kāra). To achieve this perfection, one must practice asceticism. Let me talk about this wonderful method leading to liberation. ”

“Being in the realm of yoga, terminating behaviors caused by somatosensory sensations, closing the door to the five senses, fixing your thoughts in your heart, and fixing your breath on the top of your head is the fixed point of yoga. Practicing in this realm of yoga, chanting the supreme compound word - the sacred syllable Om, at this time, if you think of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, you will surely reach the spiritual star after abandoning the physical body. "

"Son of Preeta! As for those who think of Me impartially, it is not difficult for them to approach Me because their devotional service never ceases. The great soul who is close to me, the bhakti-based yogi, has reached the highest state of perfection and will no longer return to this temporary world full of sorrow. The material world, from the highest star to the lowest star, is a miserable place of birth, death, and death, O son of Kunti! Arriving at my abode, life and death cease to exist. ”

“Based on human calculations, one day or one night in Brahma is equal to the sum of a thousand human years.” When the day of Brahma comes, all living beings are conceived and formed; when the night of Brahma comes, all living beings disintegrate. Parter! Brahma's day comes again, and all living beings wake up again, until night comes, and they have no choice but to disintegrate again. "

"There is another eternal heaven and earth, outside the tangible and intangible mortal realm, which is supreme and eternal. If the entire mortal realm is destroyed for a moment, it will remain as before. That supreme abode can be described as an invisible place, a reliable place, a final destination; as long as I arrive there and never return, that is my supreme abode. Immaculate devotion is close to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is greater than all things in the world. He is present in His abode but omnipresent, and all things are included in Him. ”

“The leader of Bharata! Let me explain when to die and return, and when to die and never return. "

"Under the influence of the god of fire, during the day, at auspicious hours, within two weeks of looking at the moon, and within six months of the northward movement of the sun, the knower of Supreme Brahman passes away. go. In foggy weather, in darkness, in the two weeks of the new moon, and in the six months of the sun's southward journey, departed spiritual practitioners reach the moon and return again.

According to the Vedas, there are two ways to leave the world, one is daytime and the other is nighttime. If you die during the day, you will never return. If you die during the night, you will definitely return. ”

“Arjuna! A devotee who understands the two paths has no confusion and is absorbed in devotional affairs. As long as you embark on the path of devotional service, those gains from studying the Vedas, preparing sacrifices, practicing hard, doing good deeds, exploring philosophy, and pursuing merit will not be in vain, and you will eventually reach the supreme abode. ”
