1, pay attention to antifreeze: if camellia blooms, the suitable temperature for bud stage is 10- 15℃. Therefore, if it is in winter or early spring, the cold air activity is frequent, and the temperature will suddenly drop below 5℃, which will lead to frostbite of flower buds without flowering.

Solution: mainly to ensure the temperature. For example, flowers can be placed in windless and sunny places during the day and moved indoors at night; If the temperature is lower than 5℃, put a plastic film bag on the flowerpot to raise the temperature.

2. Keep humidity: If camellia has buds but does not bloom, you can check it, which may be a problem that humidity can't keep up.

Solution: In winter and spring, after sunny morning 10, spray water or camellia. Generally, water the basin once a day on sunny days to keep the basin surface moist, neither too dry nor too wet. The big basin can be watered every 5-7 days. Or spray water on or around the soil surface like camellia. Just make sure there is no water.

3. Pest control: The main pests in camellia bud stage are aphids and rust ticks. The erosion of these pests will also affect the flowering of camellia.

Solution: Aphids can be sprayed with 40% omethoate EC 1000 times, and rust ticks can be sprayed with 50 grams of washing powder, diesel oil 10 ml and water 10 liter.

Tips The most suitable temperature for camellia flowering is 10℃ ~20℃. If the temperature is too low, the growth of buds will be limited, so it needs to be heated to keep warm in winter.
