What are essential oils used for? How to use?

Essential oil refers to the essence extracted from plants. Generally, the concentration is very high, and it needs to be diluted before use. I once heard a friend mention that one acre of roses on his farm can only extract very, very little essential oil, so the essential oil is very precious. Most of the essential oils on the market are not pure, but diluted. First of all, Regardless of cost, it is impossible to supply a market with such a large demand in terms of rose production. Therefore, when buying essential oils, you must be more careful and don’t be greedy for cheap and be deceived.

There are generally three common uses of essential oils:

1. Massage.

This is a relatively common usage. During massage, just the right amount of force, combined with aromatic essential oils, can not only soothe muscles and bones, but also activate nerves and promote blood circulation. But remember that if it is a single essential oil, it should be used with a medium oil. It should not be in direct contact with the skin. It can be massaged and applied only after it is fully diluted.

2. Take a bath.

This is also a method used by many female friends. When bathing, first put a bathtub of warm water, then add 10-15 drops of essential oil, and soak for 20-30 minutes. It can not only soothe the body and mind, but also promote the body's metabolism. But remember not to overheat the water, otherwise the essential oil will evaporate easily.

3. Aromatherapy.

This is my personal favorite method. Massage and bathing take more time and energy, but aromatherapy only requires an aromatherapy lamp. The air is filled with the fragrance of essential oils, which instantly relaxes the body and mind. Some essential oils also have specific effects, such as aiding sleep, refreshing, etc.
