The water flows slowly, and prices are usually higher, but not outrageous. Local people also pay attention to this image. Otherwise, no one will come, and their lives will not be easy. For example, what happened in the Fenghuang Ancient City in Hunan a few years ago was very bad, and the tourism industry was also greatly affected.

Therefore, the tourism image of Qinhuangdao has been greatly reduced. Tourists choose with their legs. There are many open seasides now. Yantai, Qingdao, Dalian, and even Huludao, which is close to Qinhuangdao, have directly developed Dongdaihe. Therefore, the advantages of summer resorts in the past have been very small. . This also directly affects Qinhuangdao’s tourism revenue and economic development.

In addition, due to too much emphasis on tourism and excessive investment in tourism for the sake of development, it will naturally affect the development and construction of other industries. In addition, everyone actually goes to Qinhuangdao to escape the summer heat, and they don’t pay too much attention to other scenic spots. To put it bluntly, the only place I go to Qinhuangdao every year is the Shanghai beach. I basically don’t go to other places, and I don’t want to go either. Under the scorching heat, The purpose is to go there to cool off. Does it make sense to exclude Shanhaiguan for some scenic spots? Objectively speaking, it is better to save some money and invest in more effective projects to promote the diversified development of the city and bring employment opportunities.

In addition, eating in Qinhuangdao restaurants is usually relatively expensive. Of course, there are many reasons, most of which are brought about by the tourism industry. Many restaurants are unwilling to lower the price after raising the price during the peak season, gradually forming a gap in catering prices. Upregulated. Although the port is operating, it is not profitable. The province plans to cancel the port and is preparing to transfer the port to Caofeidian in Tangshan. A seaside city without a port always seems to be missing something. If the port is cancelled, it will have a negative impact on the seaside city, both in terms of financial revenue and image. The future development plan is to build it into an international tourist city, which is somewhat unrealistic due to climate constraints alone. In the cold season when you can't go to the sea, the tourist area is depressed and desolate.

Tourism alone cannot develop. On the premise of focusing on tourism and not affecting the environment, various industries should be comprehensively adjusted as a whole and some suitable light industries should be developed.
