There are far more legends about Ji Kang in the Jianghu. The Book of Jin recorded such a bizarre story: Ji Kang went sightseeing in the mountains and forgot to go home for a while. However, cool is not the exclusive right of rock youth. Ji Kang's contemporaries also had Ruan Ji, who was also an out-and-out master of being cool. Unexpectedly, the man heard that Ruan Ji was sleeping soundly beside his wife, so he ignored it and said, "Ruan Ji is a cool brother. I don't think he will do such a foolish thing. "

Shi Shuo Xin Yu also recorded a story: Ruan Ji played chess with his chess friends one day and happened to have his mother die.
