Japan Travel Guide: Japan Travel Notes

Although Japan is not a big country, it is still a tourist attraction that can be visited. You can pay attention to it when you go to Japan. Today, the editor wants to tell you about Japan’s travel notes, so you can take a look.

The plane arrived at Osaka Kansai Airport on time on the afternoon of January 20. I filled in the entry checklist on the plane. After getting off the plane, I handed it to the staff, filled in the hotel where I was staying, and entered my fingerprints. Maybe it's a little late to pick up your luggage now. Only the suitcases we brought were there, and two staff members were waiting for us there. I picked up my luggage, put on the data card I bought at TB, and started a week-long trip to the Neon Country.

When I was doing the guide, what I was most worried about was buying tickets at the station, because the Google Map of the route was already fully displayed. If I don't understand Japanese, will there be any difficulty in buying tickets? After arriving, I found that although there are some obstacles, it will be fine once you get familiar with it a few times. First of all, when I came out of the airport to buy tickets, I met a Chinese-speaking instructor in front of the ticket vending machine. He asked where to go and told us which ticket to buy, so I successfully bought a ticket for Nankai Electric Railway. Generally, you have to take this bus to go to Xinzhaiqiao, Nanlang, etc.

After getting on the bus, I encountered some troubles. The bus was relatively old and there was no electronic display for announcing the stop. I had to go to one stop to see the sign outside. I wonder if all the cars on this line are like this? Originally, I was going to follow the route on Google Maps to Tianxia Tea House Station. Later I saw that I could go to Namba and then go to my residence. In addition, Namba is the terminal station, so I decided to sit at Namba Station for the time being and not care about which station the bus was going to. Because I bought a ticket to Tianxia Teahouse, where can I change my ticket in Nanlang? I called my classmates in Japan and told me that there would be an actuator when I arrived at the station. Put the ticket in and add money. After arriving at the station, I saw the actuator, but when I inserted the ticket, it showed that the price at Tianxia Teahouse was the same as that at Nanglang, so there was no need to exchange the ticket. The following is a photo of the actuator I saw outside. It was not taken at Namba Station at that time. It is for reference only.

After arriving at Nannami Station, I have to transfer to the Sensen Line to Jiudingmu in Danmachi. Although I found this station on the route map on the wall, I searched in front of the ticket vending machine for a long time, but I couldn't find it. I always thought that just like in China, you should first choose which station to go to, see how much it will cost, and then invest the money. In fact, on the route map, there is a number at the top of each station, which is the amount of money required to get from this station to that station. There are some buttons for 170 and 320 amounts on the ticket vending machine. Just put the money in first, and then directly select the corresponding amount.

I didn’t get the wiring diagram for Qianqianxian. Here I'll make do in Akihabara, Tokyo. For example, if you want to go from Akihabara to Ueno Station, you can see 140 written at the bottom of Ueno Station. After you put in the money, just press the 140 button on the machine to get the ticket.

After exiting the station, there happens to be a pharmacy. Went in to buy cold medicine for my brother. There are two old men in the store. In English we use gestures to touch the forehead to indicate fever and touch the throat to indicate pain. They figured it out quickly and told us in plain English how many slices to take at a time. After that, I went to other pharmacies, and they all spoke some English. Communication is no problem.

I followed Google Maps to find the scheduled BB, and the landlord had already gone downstairs to wait for us. We explained the house rules and introduced shopping and eating places in the surrounding area. The room is not big, a bit old, but very clean. There are various water glasses, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc. in the kitchen. There are two rooms, one is Japanese style and the other is a bed.

After I dropped off my things at BB, I went out for dinner and randomly found a small shop. Seeing the beer ordered by the next table, we ordered a glass too, and it tasted pretty good. The noodles ordered were delicious. After shopping around for a week, I saw many noodle places in Japan, and they were all very good.

After dinner, around eight o'clock, I walked around. It was quiet at first. When I walk, I actually walk

Shinnobashi opens very late and there are still many people here around 10pm. At night, there are many unexpected people soliciting customers on the streets here, but you can't see them during the day. They are all tourists.

After a busy day, there will be some garbage on the ground, especially a lot of cigarette butts.

I observed that when the store was closed for the night, garbage bags were thrown at the store door. It should be that in the future there will be unified collection of garbage trucks.

There is a playground next to my residence. When I wake up in the morning, the teacher takes my students to train on the playground and run around the block.

Alipay and WeChat Pay are not as popular as I thought before. Only a few large stores or duty-free shops opened by Chinese can use it, and most of them support UnionPay payment. Some fruit shops and shops only accept cash, MasterCard and VISA cards. If you want to go there, it's best to bring a MasterCard or Visa card.

In the octopus grill restaurant at the bottom, just put cash in the machine next to it and choose what you want. After that, a small ticket will be issued, give the ticket to the store, and then choose the seasoning and sauce. There are also some places in Japan where noodles are eaten this way.

There are relatively few people here at Hozen Temple, and some locals also come here to pray. There are two wells from which water can be scooped out and poured onto the stones as a blessing. There is a similar place in Ueno Park in Tokyo. You can also voluntarily throw some money into the box.

I can write some blessings and hang them here. I'm asking for a logo here, but the numbers aren't very good. There are five levels from best to worst. I drew the second to last one, and the last one was Mass Murderer, so I folded the sign and tied it to a rope on the wall. People here don't know much English, but there is a book with English translations for all levels, and it's also available in pharmacies. Many commonly used words have corresponding English and Chinese explanations, so there is no problem in understanding them.

This is called Akihabara in Kansai, and there are many games and anime around it. I see many young people in the store. If you are interested in games and comics, please check it out here. You can buy some comics or make them by hand.

This place is a bit like a domestic fresh food market, where there are a lot of fresh food. There are also many snacks, grilled seafood, and cakes, all of which are delicious. I bought a box of cakes with strawberries in them, which were delicious.

The taxi stations in Japan are just like the videos I saw online before. They are lined up in several rows, waiting for customers one after another in order. They are very orderly and every car is wiped clean. net.

Can I order an automatic noodle shop? It's my own name, haha. Anyway, I put the money in the vending machine outside the store and then take the ticket into the store and make it for the boss, just like the one selling takoyaki above. In Japanese stores, there will be ice water on the table. After entering, drink a glass of ice water first. I've been there for a week and I'm used to it. I still think it's delicious and I don't feel cold at all.

While my sister was shopping in the morning, I went out for a stroll and walked to the Blue Sky Building in Meitian. It was only after 12 o'clock, and it was not a sunny day. Soon it started to snow heavily, and the view and scenery were not good. It is recommended to find a sunny day or night. When the city lights up, it will be spectacular. Checking it on Google Maps will show that the business hours are 10-22:30, which is a popular tourist time. There are still a lot of people at night, and the pictures online overlooking Osaka at night are really beautiful.

I have stayed in several hotels in Japan, but the prices of hot spring hotels in Arima are relatively high. Generally hotel rooms are small, but really clean.

When visiting bic camera, you should pay attention to the business hours, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm, and it closes relatively early. Also, if you have coupons, remember to bring them with you. Scan the QR code to the store clerk when you check out to get a discount on top of the tax exemption. My coupon was for buying a data card on TB, but I didn’t expect it to actually work.

According to Google Maps, first take the subway to the bus station. There are express lines and horses. The hotel staff told me on the phone to buy tickets in advance. After looking for a long time, there was no place to buy tickets. Actually I don’t need to buy a ticket. Just pay cash after getting on the bus. The watermelon card bought by TB cannot be used here. The interval for this bus seems to be 50 minutes. It was so cold that I forgot to get the timetable.

Take the Ma Jixing Line and get off, then walk up the mountain for at most one minute to reach Taoquan Yusuofang Hotel. However, hotel check-in is not available until 3pm. You can leave your luggage in the hotel and go outside, or you can have a place to rest in the hotel.

This is the resting area of ??the hotel. You can put your feet under the table. The weather is very warm.

Because some of us had colds, we stayed here to rest before checking in. Before checking in, we were invited into the pantry inside where we were given some tea and biscuits. Meanwhile, a waiter would come over to talk about dinner:

After checking in, we were shown to our respective rooms. I live in Wen and am relatively young. There is no shower or bathtub, so we could go to the hot spring room to take a bath. The other one is Le, which is very large and has its own shower and bathtub. Then he introduced us to the contents of the room in detail:

Then he introduced us to the public place:

Although the hot spring is only closed from 12:00 to 1:00, the When we wanted to go at 9:00 the next morning, we were told that the staff had been cleaning until 11:00, and we checked out at 11:00 and could not use it. Fortunately, I went to take a dip at 7 o'clock in the morning.

When eating, the service staff will bring the dishes in and set them up, and briefly introduce what each dish is and how to eat it. They are very patient and every dish is exquisite. When we were taking pictures, the waiter reminded us to cover the lid halfway so it would look better, haha. The recipes are also very unique. Based on four characters, each character corresponds to a round of dishes.

After eating, I will move a table out of the room, take out the quilt from the cabinet, and spread it out where I can sleep. The desk lamp and alarm clock are placed next to the head, which feels very warm. I saw the reminder on the check-in form. Because the house is made of wood and the sound insulation effect is not good, please do not make loud noises to avoid disturbing the room. And even though the air conditioner was on, the room was still a bit cold and the quilt was very thick. After soaking in the hot springs, I could sleep comfortably in them.

It was quite late after dinner, so I just walked around. There were very few people and the shops were closed. Better go back to the hot springs.

In the morning someone will bring drinks and make up the quilt. After a while, dinner will be served. The waiter will bring the table in, put it together, and start serving the food. Introducing what everything is and how to eat it.

After soaking in the hot springs, we will head to Tokyo and then take a bus to Shin-Osaka. Here, it’s best to check the schedule in advance. When we went, the last bus was already full and we had to wait 50 minutes for the next bus. Afterwards we went back to the hotel and sat and waited. When the station comes, it is the station, which is very close to this hotel. After arriving in Shin-Osaka, transfer to the Shinkansen. There is a ticket purchase process for the Shinkansen. You can't see the Chinese display on the Shinkansen ticket vending machines, but you can guess just by looking at a few Chinese characters. In addition, there is a Shinkansen flight in 10 minutes, so don’t worry. Based on my experience taking the subway a few days ago, it took me 5 or 6 minutes to do it. But I made the wrong choice when choosing seats. I arranged four people in vertical rows, just like 15D, 16D, 17D, and 18D on the high-speed train. It’s funny looking back.

After arriving in Tokyo, transfer to Ueno. Note that the Shinkansen ticket will pop up when exiting the station. Remember to take this ticket after passing the ticket gate, and then put it into the ticket gate together with the two Ueno tickets. It is not possible for one person to buy a ticket for Ueno. I didn't notice that I needed a Shinkansen ticket at the time, so I went back and asked the staff for it. He took it out of the wicket and gave it to me.

There are many places to eat and shop around Ueno. There are many shops selling bags, clothes, shoes, cosmetics, etc. in the evening. At the food stall, and also very close to Akihabara.

There are many girls standing on the street, but don’t take photos casually. Start by asking them if they agree to be photographed. Many girls will be wary when they see someone holding a camera or mobile phone. Although these two girls were allowed to take photos, they would also cover their faces.

The roads in Ginza are the widest I have ever seen in Japan. It's probably similar to a highway with horses, but it's very narrow everywhere else.

If you provide your passport and return flight information on 8F of Mitsukoshi Department Store, you can apply for a pick-up card. If you have a credit card or gold card or above, you can also apply for a 5% off membership card. When you buy something here, the waiter will put the receipt in the pickup card and deliver the goods directly to the airport. When leaving, you can go through security check at the airport and pick up the goods directly.

When we arrived at Shinjuku Station, we could see the sign of Odadera Department Store. I forgot whether it was the first floor or the second floor. They are all edible and look delicious. I suggest you take a look.

There are many snack bars here, and the places are small.

When we went to the second floor of the store, we had to walk sideways up the stairs. The Japanese people inside speak very loudly and usually hide when talking on the phone for fear of disturbing others, which is a sharp contrast. The two Japanese guys at the next table also recommended two glasses of wine to me. I said I wouldn't get drunk. He said that when you come to play, you have to experience some things. We had a great time chatting.

Looking at the map, you will know that this is the legendary Don Quixote. I can't wait to go in and wander around. There were indeed many people, but it was boring and nothing new.

There is a large Uniqlo on the top floor with customers on it. If it is not tax-free, you can use the machine to check out automatically. Throw your purchases into the cabinet at the bottom and you can scan the items you put in on the screen. Then you can pay with cash or credit card, which is an experience I have never had before in China.

I met a TV station in Ueno Park who wanted to interview me. I was so excited! As a result, I just said that I don't speak Japanese, and the other person quickly apologized and walked away. (O o). If you don’t understand Japanese, you can simply communicate in English. I missed being on TV. What a pity, are you asking me to learn Japanese?

I met a very enthusiastic musical uncle in the park. He introduced me to his instruments and music, as well as the corresponding genre of each piece. The uncle likes riding bicycles very much and has been in magazines. He speaks English very well. Maybe there were few people there that day, but he chatted with me for a long time while playing music. Finally I bought a CD made by my uncle himself. If you know some music or musical instruments or any kind of art, you may meet like-minded people when you go out to play, which will definitely add a lot of fun to your trip.

Take the bus to Waseda. There will be a timetable on the Japanese bus stop sign, which is very punctual. When you get out of the car, press the button on the car first.

For those who have an early flight time, Ueno to Narita Airport is the fastest. Take Skylina for example.
