Historical origin

Allegro was called "Jilaibao" in its early years, also known as "jingle", "flowing mouth" and "practicing mouth", which evolved from "Lotus Falls" sung by the poor in the Song Dynasty.

Allegro was originally used as a way and means for beggars to beg for money or food along the street, with a long history. Allegro really existed as a performance form of Quyi art after the founding of the People's Republic of China.

In the old days, folk artists always wanted to find a historical celebrity to be regarded as the ancestor of their industry, so as to add luster to their industry. Of course, folk artists who are "counting treasures" are no exception.

In history, beggars begging along the street regarded Zhu Yuanzhang, the great ancestor of Ming Dynasty, as the granddaddy of "the treasure of numbers", and the cloud traveler "Jianghu Congtan" said: I once asked my generation why I offered sacrifices to Zhu Hongwu. According to the beggar, Zhu Hongwu was a literate scholar in Yuan Dynasty and a native of Zhongli County, Haozhou, Anhui Province.

Zhu Shizhen, the father, and Guo, the mother, had four sons and one daughter. The third son was separated by the war, and the daughter was married. The fourth son, Zhu Yuanzhang, the emperor of Hongwu, was different from ordinary people since childhood. The people said that this child is not an ordinary person and will surely be excellent in the future.

When Emperor Hongwu was able to speak, he told his father to die and his empress to die, leaving him alone to live with Wang Gan's mother. When he grew up, he sent Zhu Yuanzhang to Huangjue Temple to become a monk, and the elders named him monk Yuan Long.

The elders treated him very kindly, but the monks in the temple treated him very poorly. After the elders died, the monks expelled Zhu Yuanzhang from the temple, and Mother Wang Gan sent him to Majiazhuang to herd cattle outside Mr. Ma.

The place where cattle were herded was stony mountain, but his luck was clumsy, and many cows died of illness, or were buried in the mountains, or ate the allegro art meat, and were expelled by Mr. Ma.

Wang Gan's mother died of illness again, so Zhu Hongwu had to beg from door to door. Because of his great fate, anyone who called him grandpa would get sick, and anyone who called him mom would get sick. People in Houzhong County were not allowed to call him grandpa and mom in front of the door, and Zhu Hongwu was sad at the place where he was herding cattle. As a teenager, his life was hard, and anyone who begged for it would get sick.

Don't shout in front of the door. How can I beg? He suddenly saw two pieces of cow bones on the ground, and he was in a hurry. He wanted to beat them and beg from door to door, so he beat them every day and begged along the door. People in Zhongli County were afraid that they would call their parents. Every time they heard the sound of cow bones, they took the leftover food to the door and gave it to Zhu Hongwu.

Beggars who spread to poor families today don't call their parents, that is, their inheritance. People in the society call that cow bone, and people in poor families call it "Taiping Drum". There are thirteen small copper bells on it, which were also left by Zhu Hongwu. It is said that one copper bell can eat one province, and thirteen with bells can eat thirteen provinces.

Gao Fengshan, a famous allegro artist, lost his parents and brother in his life.

At the age of six, he begged and lived in Beijing alone. At the age of seven, he was adopted by Cao Dekui, a famous Tianqiao artist, who was one of the "Eight Monsters of Tianqiao". He was bullied and humiliated by evil forces. After seven years of success, he learned crosstalk from Gao Deliang, a famous crosstalk artist, and laid a solid foundation.

At the age of 14, he began to perform independently, and successively partnered with Ma Sanli, Zhu Xiangchen, Luo Rongshou, Wang Changyou, Sun Baocai, etc., leaving the land to perform in Beijing, Tianjin and Tangshan, and gradually gained fame.

Since the founding of New China, he has been aggressive and innovative. He has staged more than 2 Allegro books and several jokes, and co-published a book on Allegro.

In 1949, he joined the crosstalk improvement group, actively choreographed new tracks, and later specialized in Allegro and Numerals, and cooperated with Gao Deliang and Wang Xueyi. In his later years, he mainly engaged in the teaching of Quyi, and cooperated with Luo Rongshou to perform traditional crosstalk programs such as Selling Cloth Head and Yellow Crane Tower.

He has profound skills, and gradually formed his own style on the basis of inheriting traditional skills. He sings Allegro with clear articulation, witty language, clear rhythm, smooth momentum, compact aria, and extremely stable and varied groove.

In terms of the combination of speaking and teasing, it is particularly unique. Its representative works include Tong Ren Tang, Counting the Treasures, Betting on Zhuge Liang, Zhang Yu Cooking the Sea, and Wu Song Beating the Shop, etc.

Gao Fengshan strives for perfection in art, and pays attention to absorbing nutrition from his sister art.
