What is quenching and distribution treatment?

Quenching and distribution treatment: quench the steel containing SI or AL to a certain temperature between MS and MF (QT), and then stay at a certain temperature (PT, at the quenching temperature or higher than MS), so as to diffuse carbon from martensite to residual austenite and stabilize it, increase the room temperature austenite content after final quenching, and improve the toughness and mixing performance of steel parts.
