Why is doomsday often controversial?

Look, what alarmist and shocking news! When the film "20 12" was first released, people saw that the earth had suffered a devastating disaster and was still in the cinema.

Then there was a heated debate on the language of the end of the world on the Internet, and some people were ready to run for their lives at any time. The other part still holds the attitude of "life goes on".

Of course I belong to the latter. Although everyone is talking about the terrible ending, I think there is still exciting curiosity hidden under the fear. The earth is warming and the ozone layer is destroyed, but everyone still lives in this big environment, and the end seems to be far away from us.

However, people who are worried about the coming of the end are not alarmist. They are more worried than ordinary people and have a longer-term vision. Therefore, the two sides who hold their own opinions will often cause disputes, and irrational people will often spread rumors and disturb people's hearts under the guise of "the end of the world."

In my opinion, the end of the world does exist, but as far as the short life span of human beings is concerned, it may not be really seen before normal birth, illness and death.
