May Day trip - watching the sea on a rainy day

During the May Day holiday, I spent two days doing homework at home. My brother said he wanted to spend a day in Shenzhen and ride all the subway lines he had never taken before. So he and his father discussed that they should first go to the sea view boardwalk in Yantian, and then take the subway to the Sea World in Shekou. In this way, you can ride Metro Line 2 almost from beginning to end.

When I woke up in the morning, it rained and everything was wet, but it did not affect the children's beautiful mood of traveling at all. Drive to Longgang, take Line 3, and take the bus to Yantian.

First stop: Seaview Plank Road

In the drizzle weather, the road is also very refreshing. The air is filled with the vague fragrance of flowers and plants. Phoenix flowers are scattered on the green grass, bright red. In one area, the seeds of the camphor tree were still green, but they had also been knocked down by last night's rain.

After walking for a while, it was already 11:30, and my brother suggested taking the subway to Sea World.

Second stop: Sea World

Take Line 2. This line is really long, but fortunately there are not many people. My younger brother happened to be catching up on his sleep on the subway.

When we arrived at Sea World, the family was already hungry. We found a place to have lunch. Because we had to queue up, my brother and the younger brother couldn't wait for the meal to start and ate ice cream.

After dinner, we walked slowly to see the Minghua Wheel.

To be honest, I think this is just a Minghua Lun themed business district. Apart from eating and drinking, there is nothing interesting to see. Plus there are so many people, it is not as interesting as expected.

I walked around Nuwa Park and looked around like I was checking in. There were so many people that it was not easy to take pictures.

After visiting the park, the brothers were particularly interested in the cute pet market and started shopping around. The older brother picked a Naruto companion, and the younger brother picked a toy car.

Finally we stopped at a pet stall. The pets here are not friendly at all, snakes, lizards, black spiders, piglets, toads. There is also a yellow snake hanging around the neck of a little boy.

The younger brother wanted to be held by his father, wanting to see it but also being scared, while the older brother laughed loudly. My mother hid whenever she could.

After visiting the Wild Cute Pets, we returned to the subway via the same route. We returned to Longgang around 6 o'clock and had dinner with Yiyi and Qianqian's family.

A fulfilling day. My brother is very happy because he decided today’s route. A child's happiness is to live a day according to his own ideas. That’s what we’ll do from now on.
