It is forbidden to feed rotten, moldy, pesticide-contaminated and unclean grass, feed and water.

(3) Pay close attention to the weight of calves at weaning.

During the weaning period, newborn calves grow very fast and need a lot of nutrition. In order to make calves grow tall and big, scientific feeding must be done before weaning. It is necessary to strengthen the feeding of lactating cows, feed juicy, green and high-quality forage, increase leguminous forage and concentrate, ensure sufficient milk for dairy cows and meet the lactation needs of calves. Generally, 0.25~0.5 kg concentrate is added to the diet compared with other cows, and calves are supplemented. Three months after delivery, the milk quantity of dairy cows gradually decreased, which could not meet the nutritional needs of calf growth. From two weeks, you can spray light salt water, white sugar water or medical 10% sugar salt water on the green and juicy feed, so that it can learn to eat under the guidance of cattle.

(4) Strengthen beef cattle fattening in the later stage.

Generally, crossbred calves begin to fatten at the age of 156, and the fattening period is 100. In the last two months, we should do a good job of fattening, strengthen the fat deposition of cattle and promote muscle fullness. Fattening beef cattle can be fed corn, bran, various cakes, premix, stone powder, bone powder, salt and so on. If premix is not used, trace elements, vitamins, yeast powder and lysine can be used in moderation.

Use 200 mg of rumen hormone every day and mix it in batches. The feeding method of fattening beef cattle is coarse before fine, dry before wet, poor before excellent, that is, feed grass first, then feed, and finally drink water. During the feeding period, 1.2~ 1.5 m long short rope shall be tied.

Cows can eat forage in the trough. In order to stimulate the sense of smell and taste of cattle, enhance appetite, promote the secretion of saliva, gastric juice and pancreatic juice, and improve feed intake and digestive utilization. If silage is the main forage, soda should be fed, and the dosage is 1% ~ 3% of the feed. Cowshed should be well ventilated, warm in winter and cool in summer. The feces should be cleaned every day, and the pens should be clean, dry and hygienic. Thoroughly disinfect l times a week. If possible, brush cattle 1 time every day for 3~5 minutes each time.

In the whole fattening process of beef cattle, special attention should be paid to the immunity of infectious diseases. 1 month old and 12 month old were injected with tetanus antitoxin, and attenuated foot-and-mouth disease vaccine and Clostridium welchii vaccine were injected every six months from 2 months old. Cows should be vaccinated with calf paratyphoid, calf colibacillosis and Clostridium welchii four weeks before delivery.
