What are the sentences describing Pingjiang Ancient Street?

During my seven days in Suzhou, I visited this ancient Pingjiang street three times. Appreciate the poetry of flowing bridges, the leisurely life of cars, shops and boats, the love affair of talented people and beautiful women, and the soft singing of Suzhou Pingtan.

Before I swam in Pingjiang again, mosquitoes kept me awake until five o'clock in the morning and got up at seven o'clock on time. I'm really worried that I'm exhausted today. However, at the end of the day, I found that I was not tired walking in the picturesque south of the Yangtze River. Jiangnan is really good, so you can sleep less.

Have breakfast with guests in the morning and talk about my tricycle Heping River Ancient Street yesterday. The guests were very interested and said that although they were from Suzhou, they had never been on a hand-cranked boat on Pingjiang. So, after the grass meal, I followed yesterday's itinerary, called two rickshaws and set off for Pingjiang Ancient Street.

Pingjiang Road is a historical old street in Suzhou, and it is a path along the river named Ping He Jiang. Suzhou was also called Pingjiang in Song and Yuan Dynasties, which was the road name. The river is not wide, so paddle boats walk on it, and only rickshaws can pass on the road. Therefore, having the same road, "land and water are parallel, and rivers and streets are adjacent" is a typical water town feature.

Pingjiang Road, which was the main road in the eastern part of Suzhou at that time, was included in the Pingjiang Map of Song Dynasty, the oldest city map in Suzhou. For 800 years, Pingjiang Road not only has similar river types and street systems, but also clearly retains the water town pattern of "parallel waterways and adjacent rivers and streets". Small bridges with flowing water and white walls and tiles, the volume of houses, the width and proportion of streets and rivers.

Appropriate, showing elegant style; The alleys on both sides of Pingjiang Road, especially in the east, have well preserved many water lanes. It is the most primitive ancient block in Suzhou today, separated from Guanqian Street, but its quiet and quaint living atmosphere is quite different from the noise just a few feet away.

Pingjiang Road starts from Ganjiang East Road in the south and reaches the intersection of Baita East Road and Dongbei Street in the north, which is called "Ten Springs" in ancient times. 1834 The book Wumen Biaoyin, published earlier, said: "There are ten springs in Pingjiang Road, with ten ancient wells, Huayang Bridge in the south, Xijiaqiao in the south and Qiao Yuan in the north", which is very detailed. Pingjiang Road is a road along the river. When I go there, look at the map. Total length 1, 606 meters, three miles long. There are many narrow alleys on both sides, such as Shizisi Lane, Fang Chuan Lane, Donghua Bridge Lane, Caohuwei Lane, Daxinqiao Lane, Weidaoguanqian, Zhongjiagang, Daru Lane, Jony J Lane, Niujia Lane and so on.

The early morning sun shone obliquely on the flowing willows, and we walked all the way through yesterday's scenery and went straight to the small dock of the hand-cranked boat. 1A hand-cranked boat in 50 yuan, with three people sitting on it, is spacious and comfortable. While rocking the boat, the boatman explained the history, development and love-related things of Pingjiang to us, sang us some local songs and even introduced us to his blog. What a pity! Just in the middle of singing, he clearly told us that when we landed, I hope to give some hard work!

The boat is on the water, people are painting, bridges are flowing, mottled old shadows are reflected, weeping willows are lingering, and white walls and black tiles are hidden. The long water town is rich in vicissitudes, simple and quiet, and the boats are swaying. We watched the scenery of the ancient street on the boat, and tourists watched us on the railings of the ancient street. From time to time, foreign tourists greet us, raise their cameras and wave to our beautiful boat.

After disembarking, we continued to take Pingjiang Road. Seeing that many places are building houses on a small scale, I heard that it must be the requirement of "repairing the old as the old". Many old houses along the street have actually been used as bars and clubs, but the appearance is not obvious, quietly hidden under wooden door panels. At first glance, it is no different from an ordinary house, and only from a particularly exquisite carved porch can we get some clues. From time to time, foreign tourists walk on the road or take rickshaws to enjoy the picturesque scenery of the water town. There are also many art students, looking for an ancient tree under their feet, calmly depicting the flowing water on a small bridge. There are many couples, wearing ancient cheongsam, taking wedding photos here, interpreting a time when talented people in the south of the Yangtze River met beautiful women, and fixing this beautiful plot as a permanent picture of life memory. There are also one or two guqin pavilions, silently facing the water in Pingjiang. The quiet place is Pingjiang Ancient Street, but there is no sound of the piano. Only the roadside shops are playing the songs of Suzhou Pingtan. In the willows of Yiyi, on the long flowing water, the ancient Jiangnan customs are swaying, singing the moving stories of talented people and beautiful women.
