This is an interesting set of poems about debauchery and wealth. Because of their different positions and modes, poets have different views on the same four things.

From the perspective of understanding the emptiness of Buddhism, Fo Yin's poems advocate that Buddhism should be completely isolated from the rich and beautiful, divorced from the world, which is the concept of the birth of Buddhism and the practice of inner holiness. ?

Su Dongpo's poems emphasize that the key to treating wine, color and wealth lies in grasping a degree and the golden mean. It is from the aspect of Confucian personal cultivation and also belongs to the law of inner saints.

? Both Wang Anshi and Song Shenzong talked about the positive effect of debauchery and wealth on the country, and affirmed the positive factors contained in debauchery and wealth, including the vision of sages and the pattern of kings. All belong to Minister Wang Zhidao.
