What's the difference between Rugao dialect and Mandarin?

Rugao dialect is a kind of Chinese dialect and belongs to Jianghuai Mandarin. Rugao dialect belongs to Tairupian of Jianghuai Mandarin. According to Dr. Qian Gu, it belongs to Tairu film. The Survey of Dialects in Jiangsu Province and Shanghai classifies Rugao, Taixing, Hai 'an and Rudong as Rugao, which actually includes Dongtai, represented by Rucheng dialect, and Duanshan area in the southeast of Zhangjiagang. In the historical evolution of dialects, this area is relatively conservative and rich in accumulation. There are some similarities with Wu dialect, but there are significant differences. Rugao dialect is simply Rugao dialect, which belongs to Jianghuai Mandarin, is greatly influenced by Wu dialect, and is also related to Gan dialect and Hakka dialect.
