If your mobile phone prompts that there is insufficient memory during normal use, please follow the following methods:

Please enter the settings and check the remaining storage space:

1. Insufficient storage space (less than 10)

When the available memory of the mobile phone exceeds 10, the mobile phone space clearing pop-up box prompt will automatically disappear. If you are prompted that the storage space is insufficient, please refer to the following methods to troubleshoot and resolve:

1. Clean up the storage space

(1) It is recommended to uninstall infrequently used applications. Downloading too many applications will occupy a large amount of memory;

(2) Clean up Device space: Enter the phone manager and select Cleanup Acceleration to clean up data you don’t need. You can also use one-click optimization to free up storage space based on scan results and cleaning recommendations.

2. Check whether multiple multi-users/private spaces are used

Adding multi-users and opening private spaces will occupy your storage space. It is recommended that you delete unused multi-users Or private space:

Warm reminder: If you do not use multi-user/private space, or your phone does not support this feature, please ignore this solution.

(1) Enter the phone settings, search for multi-users, and check if there are any multi-users that have been created and are not in use. If so, please click on multi-users and choose to delete the user.

(2) Enter the phone settings, search for private space, and check whether there is a private space that has been created and is not in use (showing "on" means you have not created a private space, "showing entered" means you have created a private space), if Yes, please click the three dots in the upper right corner and select Delete Private Space.

3. Move large files to the memory card and save them

If your phone supports the insertion of an external memory card, it is recommended that you insert the external memory card and save it in the internal storage of the phone. Move pictures, audio, video and other files to an external memory card to free up storage space. The operation is as follows:

Enter file management gt; Browse gt; My phone, find the file that needs to be moved, press and hold to select the file, click the move button to move it to an external memory card and save it.

4. Change the default storage location to the memory card

If your phone supports the insertion of an external memory card, it is recommended that you insert the external memory card and enter Settings; Storage; Default storage location, change the default storage location to an external memory card, so that the phone's own memory will not be occupied too much.

5. Back up data to cloud space

If there is insufficient memory, you can also back up data to cloud space. Enter the phone settings, search for cloud space, open applications that need to use the cloud, and back up data to the cloud space.

6. Restore the phone to factory settings

It is recommended that you back up your data (third-party applications such as QQ and WeChat need to be backed up separately), enter the phone settings, search for factory settings, and restore the phone to factory settings. The interface prompts to complete the factory reset operation.

2. There is sufficient remaining storage space

Maybe you have visited some application promotion websites in the browser, and the page Pretend to prompt you with insufficient storage space or running memory on your device to promote the "optimization" system to your application. It is recommended to clear the browser cache in the browser settings first, and then update the virus database of Mobile Manager to intercept disguised websites:

EMUI 8.X and below: Mobile Manager gt; Virus Scanner gt; Settings, Select to automatically update the virus database.

EMUI 9.X/10.X/11.X: Mobile Manager gt; Settings, select automatic virus database update/online virus scanning.

2. The system update and upgrade failed, prompting "Insufficient internal storage, please delete at least XXX and try again" or "Insufficient space to upgrade": System upgrade needs to reserve a certain amount of space, please clear enough according to the prompts space.
