2. Alexander Jagiellonczyk (Polish: Aleksander Jagiellonczyk; Lithuanian: Aleksandras Jogailaitis) (August 5, 1461 - August 19, 1506), a member of the Jagiellonian dynasty King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania.
Alexander Jagiellonchik was the fourth son of King Casimir IV of Poland. He was elected Grand Duke of Lithuania in 1492 after his father's death. After the death of his brother, King Jan I. Albert, on June 17, 1501, Alexander succeeded to the throne as King of Poland on December 12 of that year.
Alexander Jagiellonchik failed to effectively prevent the invasion of Lithuania by Grand Duke Ivan III of Moscow.
