In a word, it is not recommended to use insect repellent to deworm breeding pigeons during brooding period.

The deworming work of racing pigeons should have been prepared at the beginning of pairing. Most pigeon lovers have made full preparations before the arrival of the spring breeding season, and have done the annual breeding pigeon deworming work around 1 month. Those who need to be vaccinated are also vaccinated and maintained, waiting for the spring breeding season to breed in pairs. This is the most scientific way, instead of deworming during the brooding period, which will not only harm breeding pigeons but also harm young pigeons.

The deworming of pigeons includes worms and some trichomonas coccidia. Although the use of anthelmintic drugs for pigeons is not extremely strict, it is unscientific to use anthelmintic drugs for pigeons during brooding. Only when your pigeon is sure that the worm body or trichomonas coccidia is seriously flooded can it be cleaned. Trichomonas coccidia can be cleaned up in young pigeons for about 35 days, but if the old pigeons need to be cleaned up during feeding, they must be fed with insect repellent every two hours after feeding, and the feeding of insect repellent must be carried out after dark, because the young pigeons will not continue to feed after dark, so feeding insect repellent to the young pigeons can achieve the effect of insect repellent after dark. Feed it later the next day, and then feed it after the breeding pigeons empty the remaining drugs, so as to better ensure that the drugs are not ingested by the young pigeons.
