Can chanting Buddha in this animal year change luck?

Believing in Buddhism, human destiny, like other things, is in cause and effect, which is a combination of cause and effect. What we planted in the past, now or in the future, we will feel the corresponding results, and we are not happy. Good causes get good results, and evil causes get bad results. Therefore, orthodox Buddhism does not advocate any divination, prediction or fortune telling. Instead, we need Buddhist disciples to recognize the cause and effect, do good deeds, give alms, return to bodhicitta, and change the cause and effect bit by bit from now on.

Therefore, in Buddhism's view, the fate of the animal year you mentioned has no cause and effect. If something goes wrong this year, it's because you created this business in the past and now you naturally feel the result. What matters is your own view of the fate taught by the Buddha. Don't blindly pray for external forces. What can really change your destiny is yourself.

Therefore, don't expect to change your destiny by cramming. Whether it is good or bad is your own creation, and it has nothing to do with fate. All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can't change this cause and effect. But if you want to change, from now on, you can do more good deeds, give alms, be kind to others, get close to the Three Treasures, understand the teachings of the Buddha, and then read the names of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas more often, chanting sutras and holding incantations, all in order to accumulate blessings and resources.
