D2809 ran off the line and hit a mudslide at Rongjiang Station in Guizhou, and the front of the car was damaged. What are the casualties?

The D2809 passenger train from Guiyang North to Guangzhou South crashed into the entrance of Yuezhai Tunnel in front of the entrance of Rongjiang Station of Guiyang-Guangzhou Railway, causing the derailment of No.7 and No.8 cars, the driver died unfortunately, and the crew of 1 train and seven passengers were injured. The upstream news landslide is located in the tunnel near Rongjiang Station of Guiguang high-speed railway. The catenary on the railway bridge near the tunnel exit was damaged. Train D2809 rushed into Rongjiang Station and derailed after hitting a landslide.

D2809 (Guiyang North-Guangzhou South) officially carried passengers, which is the first inter-provincial EMU in southwest China. The D2809 bullet train starts from Guiyang North Station, passes through Longli North, Sandu County, Congjiang, Guilin West, Gongcheng, Zhongshan West, Hezhou and Zhaoqing East, and ends at Guangzhou South Station.

Rongjiang Station is located between Sandu Station and Congjiang Station. After leaving the tunnel, the Guiyang-oriented train crossed Zhaihaohe Bridge and immediately entered Rongjiang Station. The railway diagram shows that the D2809 train does not stop at Rongjiang Station. The upstream journalist noticed that since June 4 1: 33, Rongjiang Meteorological Observatory has continuously released a number of meteorological warning information, including warnings of severe convective weather such as fog and lightning.

Mr. Chen, a citizen of Rongjiang County, provided an upstream journalist with a video taken under the Zhaihaohe Bridge. The video shows that there is a small landslide at the upper right of the tunnel entrance across Zhaihaohe Bridge in Guiyang, and the mudslide invades the main line of Guiguang Passenger Dedicated Line, and part of the power supply of Zhaihaohe Bridge has also been arrested. Mr. Chen said, "Mudstones piled up on the rails, and the Harmony came, rushed through the mud pile, wriggled into Rongjiang Station and hit the platform." The reporter noticed that the description of the cause of the accident in the relevant manuscript of China National Railway Group Co., Ltd. was basically consistent with Mr. Chen's on-site witness.

According to public information, Rongjiang Station near the incident was managed by Chengdu Bureau of China Railway Corporation. According to the information released by the bureau earlier, the bureau used the newly introduced flood control means this year to "guide the way", requiring buses to inform on-site line patrol personnel to confirm the line situation before passing through key flood control locations, and report the train passing information in real time. If an abnormal situation is found, emergency measures will be immediately implemented to stop the train, "efficiently and accurately build flood control dams and resolutely ensure the safe and smooth railway transportation during the Dragon Boat Festival".

The injured have been sent to Rongjiang County Hospital for full treatment. The injured passengers and train attendants have been properly treated and there is no danger to their lives. The driver of the bullet train died unfortunately. Other 136 passengers on the train have arranged for transshipment and evacuation. At present, the on-site rescue work has been fully launched and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
