What are the details when providing?

Generally speaking, there are two kinds of tributes, one is eating food, that is, dim sum fruit, the other is the meat of pigs, cattle and sheep, and a simple bowl of braised pork will do. From the layout format, it is generally placed in a quantitative relationship of three or multiples of three.

For example, there must be at least three fruits in a plate, or six, nine and so on. Never put one or two at will. And the plates provided should be three, or six, and so on. For example, you can have a plate of fruit, a list of hearts and a plate of meat.

The meaning of offering

General basic offerings are as follows: incense, lamps, candles, flowers, fruits and water.

Incense, on behalf of believing in incense, is a kind of signal, which is metaphorically used to send information to and communicate with Buddha and Bodhisattva. However, its real meaning is the Buddhist saying of abstinence from incense and five-body incense (namely abstinence from incense, fixation of incense, wisdom of incense, liberation of incense and liberation of incense). When people see this smoke and smell this incense, they should think of practicing precepts, precepts and wisdom.

Lamp- stands for light, and all light means wisdom, so when we see all light, we should think of walking on the road of wisdom.

Candle-means burning yourself like a candle and illuminating others. This is given by Buddhism. If they want to seek wisdom, they must be able to sacrifice themselves for others, serve the society with their wisdom, physical strength and skills, and help all sentient beings without asking for remuneration. In other words, people should advocate the dedication of "Spring silkworms die, and night candles mourn".

Fruit-indicates the result. Fruit is not for buddhas and bodhisattvas to eat, but to teach us that we can think of "what kind of karma we want, what kind of career we must build" when we see the fruit. From the Buddhist point of view, fruit represents virtue and is the fruit of complete wisdom.
