Why do I find the comforting words "You can't go back and bite a mad dog when you are walking on the road" so funny?

Generally speaking, some people with low quality, or people with low IQ, pull your attention down to his level and attack you. If you argue with him, it means that you have bitten him, so ignoring him is generally the highest gesture.

However, most things in front of us need patience, tolerance and even forgiveness. In short, they just suffered a little.
