There is an allusion in the title of The First Step, which is the story of Jin Wengong and Jie Zhitui. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Jin Xiangong of Jin loved Li Ji, which led to the suicide of Prince Shen Sheng. His other two sons, Zhong Er and Yiwu, fled to other countries. Zhong Er went into exile and sought help from other countries to restore the country. Once he crossed mountains and traveled long distances, and a group of people arrived in Weiguo, hungry and cold. Unexpectedly, Wei Wengong shut them out in embarrassment.

At this time, due to long-term malnutrition, Zhong Er caught a cold and had a high fever. He mumbled that he wanted a bowl of broth. However, the accompanying people are also clean. Where can I raise money to buy meat? Urged by the loyal minister, he gritted his teeth, cut off the meat on his thigh and cooked hot soup. After drinking it, Zhong Er recovered without taking medicine. A group of people also moved on, arrived in the state of Qi, and won the support of others. Finally, after being exiled for 19 years, they returned to the State of Jin and became the famous Jin Wengong in history.

After Jin Wengong came to power, he should first talk to exiled courtiers about his contributions, and then talk about his achievements and rewards. Jie Zhitui was disgusted by people's boasting and striving for profits. He didn't say a word from beginning to end, and Jin Wengong didn't think of him. Jie Zhitui was disappointed and lived in seclusion with his mother. Some people are eager to get him. Jin Wengong remembers his kindness and sends someone to look for him. However, Jie Zhitui was indifferent to fame and fortune, and refused to go down the mountain to be rewarded anyway.

Someone suggested to Jin Wengong that Yamakaji should force him to go down the mountain. Unexpectedly, after the fire was put out, they found that Xie tui and his mother were burned alive in the ashes of the mountain with a tree. Hate and sad, Jin Wengong ordered the mother and son to be buried, and cut down a tree to make a pair of clogs. Every time he puts on these shoes, he thinks of the suffering and the past, and can't help but sigh: "The first step is sad! 」

Therefore, although the word "one step away" has something to do with feet, it does not mean stepping on a friend's feet, but looking at things for others and cherishing past feelings, which leads to the meaning of honoring friends.
