The most authentic feeling of traveling in Tibet

1. First, let me talk about why I call this trip to Tibet a stepping stone. Tibet is so big and there are so many attractions worth visiting. I originally planned to start from Chengdu and take 318icon in and 317 out, but later it was changed to 318 in and out on the Qinghai-Tibet line. The round trip is 6,000 kilometers and takes 15 days. It can only be considered a quick tour. Flowers, I didn’t even see Nan Kabawa Peak and the Grand Canyon. I thought about going on an in-depth tour in a few years. Therefore, when traveling to Tibet, even if you don’t go to Ali icon, it is best to have about 20 days.

2. When is the most beautiful season to travel to Tibet? I have only been to Tibet once, so why can I give advice on time? I am not just guessing. In order to go to Tibet to see if I can adapt to altitude sickness, I went to Daocheng icon on October 6, 2015 to experience it. It was late autumn, but the sun was shining all the way, the forests were dyed, and there was also white snow, which was simply beautiful. This time I went to Tibet in May to avoid the rainy season. The grass was basically withered. The scenery was far worse than in 2015. It was monotonous and lackluster. There were withered grass and snow-capped mountains all the way. After a long time, I would get tired. It is recommended to visit Tibet from late June to early October. June, July 8th and early September are the most beautiful scenery in summer. The most beautiful time is from late September to early October, and the red grassland is also during this time period.

Three, routes and road conditions. In fact, there are many Tibet routes on the Internet. The 318 route icon is very mature, and it is only one road. It just depends on whether you arrange the scenic spots on the branch line. Basically, after you see the scenic spots on the branch line, you have to return to the main road. Road condition 318 and the Qinghai-Tibet Line are basically two-lane cement or asphalt roads. There are only cement washboard roads and Paokeng Roads in the section from Nagqu icon to Golmud. It is very painful for cars to drive slowly, so there is no need to worry about what kind of vehicles to drive. You should pay attention to the vehicle conditions. First, it would be troublesome if the car broke down, and second, it would be scary if the brakes failed on the mountain road.

4. Attractions along the way. I won’t mention the small attractions, but mainly talk about the main ones. I would like to say that in a good season, good scenery is on the way. Because I was too pressed for time, I didn’t get to visit many scenic spots. Daocheng Yading icon, Meili Snow Mountain (after visiting Daocheng, we did not take the original route, but went to Deqin icon and Benzilan to see Meili Snow Mountain. We were lucky enough to see Rizhao Jinshan) Lulang Town (I only looked outside ), Ranwu Lake, Midui Glacier, Nyingchi, Yamdrok Yumco (don’t buy tickets for this attraction, you can see it along the way), Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street together, Namtso icon, Tanggula Mountain viewing Antelopes, wild donkeys and yaks, Chaka Salt Lake, etc. In fact, the most beautiful things about glaciers and Cuo are not these popular attractions.

5. Things to note. How to prevent hyperreflexia? In fact, I don’t know if soaking Rhodiola rosea in water is effective. The most effective method is 1. First of all, don’t be afraid. Most people will have headaches, etc. This is normal. After 3-4 days, most people will It will ease or disappear. 2. Arrange your time and travel reasonably, don’t rush, and choose a relatively low-altitude place to stay in the first few days. 3. Don’t be excited. Don’t be too excited to slow down your movements. This is very, very important. I was very careful at first that there was no high-reflection, but when I saw the Tibetan antelope running a few steps in order to take a photo, it immediately became high-reflection.

6. Driving skills reminder. The mountain road has steep slopes and sharp bends. You must not overtake on the curves. Do not use D gear. For long downhill slopes, you must use manual mode and use engine braking. Otherwise, the brake temperature will be too high and it will fail.

There is still more to write, if you have any questions you can ask and I will try my best to answer them
