I have written about the relationship between Zhang Dafo Ye and his younger brother before. Let’s talk about another question, that is whether Zhang Da Fo Ye can live forever.

Perhaps few people have paid attention to this issue. In fact, it is also a very puzzling issue.

First of all, in "Tomb Robbers Notes", it has been mentioned more than once that Zhang Dafoye is much older than Chen Pi Asi, Wu Laogou and others in the Nine Gates. In other words, at least from the appearance, Zhang Dafo Lord will grow old, unlike his younger brother who always remains young.

And from "Wu Xie's Private Notes", we can know that Zhang Dafo was born around 1915 (it may be older in previous years). If Lord Zhang can really live forever, then he must still be alive when the story of "Tomb Robbers" begins. But in the whole story, Lord Zhang has never appeared, and there is no sign of being alive at all.

Judging from the time of creation, the above two works are relatively early works by Sanshu of the Southern School. Therefore, in the early setting of the Southern Third Uncle, Zhang Dafoye should not live forever.

But in the short story "Old Nine Gates", there is such a plot: Zhang Dafo Lord said to Qi Tiezui: "If I can really give you (life span) evenly, it will be regarded as a great thing you do to me." It's fair." From this sentence, it can be clearly seen that Zhang Dafo's lifespan should be quite long, that is, Zhang Dafo can live forever.

And "Old Nine Gates" is a later work of the Southern School Third Uncle, so whether Zhang Dafo Lord can live forever is actually somewhat different in the Southern School Third Uncle's early and later creations. .

There is a contradiction here. If Lord Zhang can live forever, then where was Lord Zhang during the period of "Tomb Robbers"? Why didn't such an important figure appear?

If Zhang Dafo Ye cannot live forever, then there will be problems with the later creations of the Southern Third Uncle. No matter which one it is, Uncle Nanpai needs to explain it.

In addition, some people may say that Zhang Dafo is not a pure member of the Zhang family, so he should not be able to live forever. However, Brother Zhang, who appeared in the extra chapter "Fantasy", was adopted and raised by the Zhang family and has no blood relationship with the Zhang family, but he also has the constitution of immortality.
