Drift is not only invented because it looks good, but the phenomenon of "drift" when the vehicle is out of control can only be called sideslip. As I have often mentioned, power is nothing without control. So is going with the flow. Only if you can control this technical action at will can you drift, otherwise, you can only say that you are practicing drifting. At present, I'm just practicing drift. Then why drift? That's a faster way for another car to turn. Of course, drift is also a stunt, and it is undeniable that drift is really attractive in vision and sense. There is also a saying that only four tires bite the ground tightly, and cutting APEX with line position is the fastest cornering method, and drifting cornering is slower than this line position method. Actually, not necessarily. First of all, look at what the ground is. If it's asphalt, it's fast. The general route is better, because it is the safest, and the faster the speed, the more difficult it is to control drift. In fact, as long as it is a high-speed cornering tire, it will drift, and you won't even notice it. This involves the critical state of friction between the tire and the ground. What is the critical state? After experiments. The tire keeps rolling friction with the ground, that is, the friction is the largest when it is basically not idling. When the tire starts idling and becomes sliding friction, the friction decreases by 20%. So when the tire keeps slippery, this is when the friction reaches the maximum limit. ABS is based on this invention. Therefore, when you feel that your tires are still biting the ground, it means that you have not exerted the friction of your tires to the limit. Of course, when the car drifts, it has exceeded the maximum friction, so the speed is faster than when it bites the ground. If the drift route can be well controlled, the drift line will definitely be faster than simply biting the ground. This also involves a problem of angular velocity and linear velocity, which is too deep to mention.
