Personally, I think Universal is better than Ali in this respect.

I'm not sure about the customer quality in global sources, but I don't think Ali's customer quality is very high. Basically, it is mainly based on inquiries from some companies, and the order quantity will not be very large. Several of my customers are ultimate retailers, that is, they open their own stores, and some even sell them online. Personally, I feel that the current English Ali is more like C2C websites such as Yi Bei and Taobao. As for the quality of global customers, I think the people who do it have more say, and I hope to come in and discuss it.

Ali's inquiry often adopts the mode of mass sending. For example, our company's main industry is toys, so if a customer sends a toy purchase information online, Ali's system will automatically match it and send it to your email, but I think there is a big problem with this, because I am not the only factory that uses English Ali as a toy. In this way, the system will send the same inquiry to the mailboxes of many factories, such as 100 factory, so it is possible that 90 factories will reply to this 100 factory, which means that this customer will receive 90 reply emails. At this time, many guests don't even read this reply, so they just delete it, which leads to that in many cases we have no information when we reply to an inquiry. Another way adopted by Universal is that if a buyer wants to buy a product, he can customize a purchase information on Universal. If the system finds the matching information, it will send it to the customer's mailbox. For the customer, it is passive to accept the mail and active to receive it. For the buyer, the psychological contrast is great.
5. For suppliers:
Ali is now developing suppliers everywhere. Take Yiwu as an example. Ali's advertisements are everywhere: I want to export, find Alibaba and be a supplier in China. But I think for a platform, it's not how many suppliers you have, nor how good your service provider is. Everyone knows that the market competition is fierce now. In fact, compared with online platforms, the more suppliers there are, the fiercer the competition will be. But for Ali, it is understandable for him to do so himself, because everyone wants to make money. Only when there are more suppliers can he make more money. But if an online platform, of course, I don't know exactly how Universal operates now, and it seems that Universal is also doing this, maybe Ali can't sit still watching.
6. For services:
As I said just now, Ali seems to focus on service providers now, so his services are better, including Tradelink, customer management system and training. These things are really helpful for a foreign trade company that has just started to develop, but Global seems to have failed in this respect.
