A trip to Shapotou for the fourth grade composition
1, riding a camel in the desert
Camels are affectionately called boats in the desert because of their hunger, thirst, cold and heat resistance. As a good friend of the people, it has been making contributions to the people in the desert in obscurity since ancient times. I'm really worried about sitting on such a huge animal for the first time. What should I do if I get bitten by it? What if it makes me give up halfway? . With these doubts, I got on the camel. Before I could calm down, this big white camel under my ass suddenly stood up on its hind legs and almost didn't lift me down. Fortunately, I held the camel tightly in my hands, and then, when it kicked its front legs, it stood up, and I leaned back and almost fell it. If this guy looks at me and scares me, I must be on my guard. My mood is even more tense. After a little meditation, I looked at other tourists riding camels. They all experienced such a process of leaning back and forth like me. Oh, it turns out that this is the basic movement of a camel from climbing down to climbing up. I am not bad alone. I just relaxed a little.
More than a hundred camels lined up in a long queue and headed for the desert. The camel on the move is quite steady. With the jingle of camel bells, I completely relaxed my nervous mood and began to enjoy the scenery along the way. According to the staff, the desert is constantly changing, and once the wind comes, it will change its face. There are no footprints where we walked, as if no one had been here. In fact, the wind last night has blown all the footprints flat.
Along the way, I fantasized that I was an ancient businessman, riding a camel carrying desert specialties and crossing the desert to exchange cloth and food. After a while, I became an ancient soldier, riding a camel across the desert to chase the enemy.
Riding a camel into the desert is exciting and exciting. It's a cool word to describe it in one word.
2. Drive across the country into the desert
One of the racing cars I remember is the F 1 racing car, running around in the stadium screaming wildly. One is that off-road vehicles climb mountains and fall into mud pits in car rally. This time we experienced flying boat in the desert. It looks like an open jeep and can seat nine people, but its tires are surprisingly big, like tractor wheels. The green paint and front and rear armor make it look like a chariot and it is very powerful to sit on it.
With the rumble of engines, our chariots set off, gradually speeding up, crossing sand dunes and heading for the depths of the desert. The vehicle rushed to a big slope at high speed. Without our preparation, a desert cliff more than ten meters deep suddenly appeared in front of us. Without our response, the front of the car had rushed down the cliff, and the people in the car didn't laugh, only a wow. If there were no seat belts, I'm afraid they would have been thrown out of the car. Fortunately, there was a near miss this time. When people haven't fully reacted, the second, third and fourth consecutive desert cliffs really gave people a hard stimulus. The previous fear of wow turned into a song of victory for conquerors and brave people, and the tight face was replaced by a confident smile.
Thrilling, exciting, excited, proud, playing is heartbeat. No wonder the inspection before boarding the bus was so careful that many people were refused to participate.
At the top of a sand dune, our chariot stopped. We have entered the middle of the desert. Looking around, it is yellow, and you can't tell the southeast from the northwest. The yellow sand at the foot has been tanned by the sun. It is said that we can boil eggs. If you don't wear foot covers, you will burn a few big bubbles.
The desert is as pure as piles of golden millet, lying quietly on the ground bathed in the warmth of the sun, so serene and gentle, without feeling that it will bring extinction to mankind, very lovely. According to the staff, this is a special tourist destination. Many places have become oases, and sandstorms that threaten people have been driven deeper into the desert. Only occasionally encounter some small sandstorms.
Oh, Tengger Desert is always so mysterious.
3. Play skateboarding on the yellow sand.
The Yellow River in Tao Tao has nine bends and eighteen bends. This big turn of the Yellow River at Shapotou not only washed away the sand, but also drove the strong wind, forming a whirlwind on the beach, blowing up the sand and piling up a huge sand dune with a slope of about 70 degrees, forming a natural sliding battlefield.
The sand in Shapotou is golden, clean and smooth after thousands of years of elutriation by the Yellow River. Sand skiing is the most traditional project in this place.
The sand slide board is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, like a miniature boat with brakes on it. When skiing, put your feet on the front edge of the skateboard, grab the left and right brake handles with both hands, and lie back slightly. The staff is still explaining to us, and I can't wait to start.
The skateboard rushed down like an arrow, faster and faster. I can't help but panic. Think of the introduction of the staff just now, and pull up the left and right brakes by hand. Unexpectedly, all of a sudden, I didn't understand what was going on, so I was thrown out by the skateboard and tripped over my ass one by one along the sand slope. The skateboard slipped down by itself, which made people on the side laugh.
The staff told me that the first reason for the rollover is that the brakes are too strong, and the second is that the left and right brakes should be pulled at the same time and the force should be uniform. Alas, it's my fault that I left without listening to the precautions. It seems that everything should be made clear in advance, otherwise the consequences will be unimaginable.
Although I didn't finish a complete sand slide, the feeling of rolling down from the sand dune was very fun, just like taking a video. Still a word, cool!
4. Let the Yellow River float on the raft
On the way to Shapotou, my father told me about the sheepskin raft on the Yellow River. It is completely peeled off with the skin of a big goat, and then blown into a big airbag with air. Then tie several such large airbags together and build a shelf with wooden sticks. People hold oars on it, grasp the direction and drift to the other side by the momentum of the current, so it is called Yellow River rafting.
The sheepskin raft I'm sitting on is already very safe. There are 14 skins on each sheepskin raft. The bulging skin is very buoyant, and the wooden frame on it is relatively strong. Plus, the boatman can only take five people at most, all wearing life jackets. Sit flat on the raft and hold the wooden frame with both hands. With a cry from the boatman, our raft left the shore. The water on the shore was relatively calm, and when the raft reached the middle reaches of the Yellow River, my mood became more and more tense.
The Yellow River in Tao Tao is rolling with huge waves, pounding our rafts constantly. Small eddies appear on the river from time to time. Our raft writhed painfully in the water. At four corners, when you got on and off, the wooden frame and the skin rubbed against each other, making a creaking sound, which increased the fear. Sometimes the raft turns in circles. My father and I are back to back, so nervous that no one talks. We just hold the wooden frame tightly and let the Yellow River splash our bodies. Only the boatman paddled left and right.
We finally rushed out of the rapids, and the water potential decreased slightly. Everyone's nervous heart finally let go and began to recall the dangerous situation just now. Looking at the boatman humming a ditty, it is still so calm. It is common for them to experience such storms many times every day. It seems that we still lack experience and exercise. I think with this experience, I won't be afraid next time.
Then my father and I walked into the China Desert Museum, watched the 3D movie Sandstorm, and saw the great achievements in desert control. Shapotou tourism not only left a deep memory for me. It also exercised my character. The character of a future man!
