Feedback on Shan Ye Bai Weicui's prose "Mountain Flowers and Green Onions"

My hometown is at the foot of Taihang Mountain, bordering the North China Plain, where a plant commonly known as "Allium chinense" grows. Its leaves and stems are linear, about 0.5 mm in diameter and less than 60 cm in height. The corolla is the size of a dollar coin. Because I don't know botany, I can't describe it accurately from the perspective of botany. It may be a perennial herb with erect stems and simple leaves. In life, people use chopped green onion to stir-fry in an oil pan. When I was a child, in the season when mountain onions were in full bloom, people picked a few by the field after work, took them home by the way, hung them on the wall, dried them naturally and ate them at any time.

In a word, Shan Ye's dried chopped green onion and fresh chopped green onion have extraordinary seasoning effects, especially after frying a few tender pumpkins in a wok. Hey, hey! Without description, the original ecology and pure natural taste cannot be described.

August is the best time to pick wild chopped green onion every year. There is plenty of rain and a suitable climate this year. The mountains are full of chopped green onion, some are single plants, some are bundles. They bloom in vain. It is said that in the county town, the price of fresh chopped green onion is as high as per catty 15 yuan. A woman picked it for a day and sold it that day, earning 160 yuan, which was once widely circulated. Therefore, many government officials and civilians from county towns are attracted to pick them up by car or taxi, which has become a beautiful scenery in road trip.

In my opinion, the reason why chopped green onion is favored by people is that besides its unique fragrance, people can hardly resist the great temptation of its charm of "Shan Ye, pure natural and pollution-free". If the busybodies send the specimens to authoritative Chinese medicine research institutions for inspection and identification, they may get magical scientific reports such as "strengthening the body, resisting cancer, beautifying, losing weight, lowering blood pressure and lowering blood fat", which will trigger an unprecedented revolution in human diet health at home and abroad.

In my spare time, I also took advantage of my occasional interest to pick it up the mountain twice. After carrying it home, the neighbor's 89-year-old aunt enthusiastically helped her 88-year-old mother tidy up. I worked as an auxiliary service, and witnessed the cordial scene of two old people chatting with their heads down at home while working, which moved me to tears. I brought some myself and left the rest for my second sister. She is very sincere and kind, and would rather not eat it herself, but also give it to poor relatives and friends after going back to the county seat, so she picked it several times in her spare time.
