New Year's Eve: Tomorrow is the Spring Festival. I am very happy, thinking that I can eat delicious meals, fragrant snacks, and get a lot of New Year's money. The more I think about it, the happier I am. I was so excited that night When I go to sleep, all I think about is food, snacks, New Year's money, beautiful new clothes, cute toys...

On the morning of New Year's Eve, I was the first to jump out of bed, and my father was cooking meat. For the stuffing, mom kneads the dough and I boil the water. We all worked very hard. In less than half an hour, the meat filling was ready, the dumplings were ready, and the water was almost boiling. My mother wrapped the dumplings skillfully, and I also learned to wrap them. I finally made three of them, and I was exhausted. It was really difficult to learn! After about twenty minutes, all the kneaded dough had been made into dumplings, and the water that my sister and I boiled was already pouring into the pot. Mom put the dumplings into the pot and cooked them. My mother also added some seasonings in the middle to make the dumplings more delicious. After about ten minutes, my mother picked up the dumplings, divided them into four bowls, and put some soup in each bowl. As soon as my mother made the soup, I grabbed a bowl and ate it with relish! My tongue was burning because I ate so fast.

We all had our mouths full of oil, and we happily went to watch exciting TV shows.

Amidst the sound of firecrackers, we ushered in the most grand festival of the Chinese people - the Spring Festival. Every family was full of joy, hung up red lanterns and posted red stickers. Spring Festival couplets, busy...

I used to be the last person to get up, but today I competed for the first place, because I really wanted to smell the fragrant firecracker smoke. Strings of firecrackers were lit in people's hands. The sound was really loud and splashed everywhere, as if they were sending every blessing to thousands of households. The sound of firecrackers continued one after another, crackling and making it very lively.

After the firecrackers, there is nothing fun anymore. Let’s have breakfast and go out to play later!

Walking on the street, there are so many pedestrians, and all kinds of lights are hung on the trees. Walking in the middle of the lawn, you can see a small pavilion in the distance, covered with colorful lights.

Looking to both sides, there are lights of various shapes on the lawn, including small houses and lotus ponds... From a distance, it is really a fairy tale world. There are more lights, and naturally there are more people. People watching the lights are really crowded. Looking at everyone's face, there is a bright smile, filled with the joy of the New Year. We took the camera and took pictures of this warm and joyous scene.

After dinner, I walked down the street and stopped in front of a stationery store. There are all kinds of fun things there: airplane models, telescopes, electric cars... all kinds of fun things. The most popular ones I find are the ones that are played with.

After playing all morning, I am going to visit relatives and friends in the afternoon to celebrate the New Year. This is undoubtedly a happy thing.

I sincerely hope that today’s children across the country will be happy and free from worries in the new year, but they must not “lose their minds by playing with things”!
