What are the famous scenic spots in Suzhou?

1. Suzhou Classical Gardens, also known as "Suzhou Gardens", are the general names of China Classical Gardens located in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province.

Zhouzhuang Town is located 38km southeast of Suzhou. Wu Guanzhong, a famous painter in ancient times, wrote that "Huangshan Mountain gathers the beauty of mountains and rivers in China, and Zhouzhuang gathers the beauty of water towns in China", while overseas newspapers call Zhouzhuang the first water town in China.

Tongli Ancient Town belongs to Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and was founded in Song Dynasty. There are many gardens, temples, mansions and celebrities' former residences built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the town. Guzhen District is divided into seven small islands by 15 rivers in the shape of "Sichuan", which are connected by 49 ancient bridges, and it is known as "a small bridge with flowing water".
