Weifang No.1 Middle School was founded in 19 13, formerly known as wei county Middle School. It was officially renamed as 1952, and was confirmed as a provincial key middle school. 1978 was identified as the first batch of key middle schools in Shandong province, and 1994 was named as the first batch of standardized schools and art education in Shandong province. In April, 2000, it passed the provincial acceptance of the national model high school and became the only national model high school in Shandong Province.
