Zhuozhou is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, which is managed by Baoding City.

Zhuozhou City is located in the middle of Hebei Province, north of Baoding City, and in the triangle of Beijing, Tianjin and Baoding. At the end of 20021,the permanent population of Zhuozhou was 662,532, a decrease of 5 146 compared with the end of last year, including 400,709 urban residents and 26 1823 rural residents. Zhuozhou has three streets, 10 town and 1 township. There are also high-tech industrial development zones, Jingnan Economic Development Zone and Songlindian Economic Development Zone.

Zhuozhou, which was called Zhuolu, Zhuo Yi, Zhuo Jun, Fanyang, Zhuozhou Road and Zhuoxian in ancient times, has a unique geographical advantage. The geological structure belongs to the mountain flood alluvial fan in Taihang Mountain, with flat terrain and fertile soil. There are abundant water conservancy, geothermal and sandstone resources here, which was called "fertile soil" in ancient times.

Climatic characteristics

Zhuozhou belongs to the warm temperate semi-humid monsoon region, with obvious continental monsoon climate characteristics, large temperature difference and distinct four seasons. In Zhuozhou, the sunshine hours in spring are gradually prolonged, the ground temperature rises rapidly, and the inland low pressure activities are frequent. However, the dry and cold air in the north is still going south, which continues to have an impact on Zhuozhou, so the wind is dry.

In summer, affected by the subtropical high in the North Pacific, the summer monsoon blowing from the ocean to the mainland is prevalent, humid and rainy. In autumn, the Pacific subtropical high center moves eastward, the west wind prevails, the summer heat subsides, the temperature drops gradually, and the gas layer is relatively stable, so the weather of "clear clouds and clear air" often appears. In winter, influenced by Mongolia's strong high pressure, the northwest wind blowing from the inland to the ocean prevails, with little rain and snow, cold and dry.
