What are the poems about Lu You?
1. Shier
Song Dynasty: Lu You
After death, I know that everything is in vain, but I am not as sad as Jiuzhou.
Wang Shibei set the Central Plains Day, and he never forgot to tell Nai Weng about family sacrifices.
"Shi'er" is Lu You's last work, written in the third year of Jiading of Ningzong (1210). It is not only the poet's will, but also the poet's final call for resistance. Eighty-five-year-old Lu You couldn't afford to fall ill. Before his death, he left a poem "Shi'er", which expressed the poet's helplessness and hope for regaining the lost land.
2. Reading on a winter night shows Ziyu
Song Dynasty: Lu You
The ancients spared no effort in learning, and their skills were only achieved when they were young and old.
What you have learned on paper will eventually make you realize it is shallow, and you will definitely know that this matter must be carried out.
In the fifth year of Ningzong's reign in the Song Dynasty, the poet was intoxicated in his study on a cold winter night, reading poems and books endlessly. Outside the window, the north wind howled and the air-conditioning was oppressive. In the quiet night, the poet could not restrain the rushing emotions in his heart. He wrote this philosophical poem and lovingly gave it to his son Ziyu.
3. There was a heavy storm on November 4th
Song Dynasty: Lu You
Lying stiffly in the isolated village, he did not feel sorry for himself, but thought of guarding Luntai for the country.
I lie down at night listening to the wind and rain, and the iron horse glacier falls into my dream.
After Lu You resigned from office in the 16th year of Chunxi (1189), Emperor Xiaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty, he lived idle in his hometown of Shanyin. This poem was written on November 4, the third year of Shaoxi reign (1192) of Emperor Guangzong of the Southern Song Dynasty. The poet was already 68 years old at that time. Although he was old, his strong desire to regain the country could no longer be realized in reality. So, on a "stormy and rainy" night, he was inspired by the scene and thought, and realized his dream in a dream. The desire for an iron horse to gallop through the Central Plains.
4. On an autumn night, I feel the dawn when I step out of the fence to welcome the coolness.
Song Dynasty: Lu You
Thirty thousand miles of river flows eastward into the sea, and five thousand miles of mountains reach the sky.
The remaining people shed tears in the dust and looked south to see Wang Shi for another year.
This poem was written in the autumn of the third year of Shaoxi reign of Emperor Guangzong of Song Dynasty (1192), when Lu You was in Shanyin (now Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province). During the Southern Song Dynasty, the Jin soldiers occupied the Central Plains area. When the poet wrote this poem, the Central Plains region had fallen to the hands of the Jin people for more than sixty years. Although it was early autumn at this time, the heat was still severe and he could not sleep peacefully. At dawn, he stepped out of the fence, feeling touched in his heart, and composed these two poems.
5. Reading
Song Dynasty: Lu You
I returned to Zhining without a five-acre garden, and my original intention of reading was in Yuan and Yuan Dynasties.
Although my eyesight in front of the lamp is not the same as before, I still have to learn 20,000 words.
The poem "Reading" was written after Lu You retired to his hometown in his later years. He read at night and his eyes were not as good as before. But he still cares about the people. So I wrote "Reading".
6. Plum Blossom Quatrains·Part 1
Song Dynasty: Lu You
I heard the plum blossoms blowing in the morning breeze, and snowdrifts filled the four mountains.
How can one transform into hundreds of billions, one plum blossom tree and one blooming man?
The author was 78 years old when he wrote this poem. He lived idlely in his hometown of Shanyin and vented his loneliness and aloofness by chanting plum blossoms. The first two sentences about plum blossoms serve as a foil for the last two sentences about people. "Incarnate into a thousand billions" grows in front of the plum blossoms, is connected to the plum blossoms, and is in harmony with each other: the human and plum blossoms merge into one, which highlights the author's high-standard and unconventional personality.
