Dry double clutch

There are two kinds of ordinary household double clutches, namely dry double clutch and wet double clutch. The two groups of clutch plates of wet double clutch are in a sealed oil tank, and the heat is absorbed by the transmission oil saturated with the clutch plates.

In this way, although the dry powershift has high efficiency and fast gear shifting, the gearbox is easy to overheat and bump when stopping, and it is easy to rust when passing water. Although the wet dual clutch sacrifices some transmission efficiency and shift speed, it performs well in overheating and frustration. 1. Volkswagen dry dual clutch

At present, the most famous dry dual clutch used in the market is Volkswagen, and its internal code name is DQ200. There are many models. Let's just say that almost all the low-end low-displacement turbocharged engines of Volkswagen are equipped with it (a few 1.4T models such as Tan Yue and Tiguan L are equipped with DQ38 1 wet dual clutch).

The faults of this series gearbox are sudden start, high temperature, abnormal noise, burnt clutch plate and abnormal driving in extreme cases.

Volkswagen has indeed improved the procedure of this gearbox, reducing frequent gear shifting at low speed and improving the failure rate, but what I want to say is that it can choose wet rather than dry as far as possible.

2. Ford dry dual clutch

Ford's 6-speed dual clutch code-named DPS6 also has many problems. It is installed on Fox, Wing Bo and other models. The faults are characterized by continuous shaking of parking state, unsmooth shifting, delayed downshift and sudden acceleration of some users.

However, this gearbox has basically been abandoned by Ford. At present, Fox has used its own 8AT gearbox, and the quality and stability have been greatly improved.

3. Universal dry dual clutch

Speaking of Ford, of course, you can't miss GM. General dry dual clutch internal code is SHDT250. The assembled models are Buick, Chevrolet, Roewe and MG, and the engines are mainly 1.4T and 1.5t, which are produced by GM and SAIC.

This gearbox can be said to be as good as Ford's, and the main faults are abnormal sound and frustration. If you are unlucky, you can claim compensation during the warranty period, and many of them will be broken after the warranty period. It is suggested that the owner should check the abnormal sound early, find it early and treat it early.

This kind of gearbox is commonly known as "metal mixer" in the industry, mainly because the buffer is too thin and easy to break. This CVT is internally code-named VT series and has a wide range of carrying. Domestic brands such as Geely, Haima, Jianghuai, BYD, Great Wall, Landwind, BAIC and Zotye are all used, mainly for low-end models.

The gearbox failure is characterized by sudden start, abnormal sound, instrument failure light, abnormal internal wear and even loss of power in extreme cases. Many models have problems before driving to 654.38+ 10,000 kilometers, and the maintenance price is not low.

The main faults are abnormal sound, abnormal bearing wear, frustration, slippage and insufficient power. The reason is the use of domestic materials, abnormal wear of bearings and steel belts, and the iron filings produced damage the solenoid valve. Of course, the assembly process is not excluded.

This gearbox had few problems before it was made in China. Now the failure rate of the same gearbox imported and made in China is very different, so it really shouldn't be.
