Let's talk about the fishing method of fishing eel by boat and my experience.

Time: Eels began to migrate to the waters of Jiaozhou Bay in May, and then spread around for food until they swam to the deep water area in late autumn (165438+1October), during which they could be caught. However, the best season for fishing eels by boat is September and June in autumn at 5438+00.

The habit of eels is to go out at night during the day, so eels must fish at night and rarely catch them during the day. It is time for eels to feed from dusk to the early morning of the next day. In general, eels eat the most at midnight and before dawn, but there will be some changes according to the daily limit.

Fishing point: in the middle of Jiaozhou Bay, Maodao rushes south and Shalingzhuang rushes west. The water depth is less than10m, and the seabed is muddy. In recent years, a large area of oysters has been artificially stocked, creating a good habitat for various marine life. Last year, I fished eels here many times, the most time, from dark to midnight 1 1 point, * * * caught 14 kg eels, and the biggest one was more than 500 grams.

Fishing tackle: anglers' fishing boats include organic wheels, wooden boats, FRP boats and rubber rafts, which can be carried by one or more people. Night fishing must also be equipped with lights. Fishing rods are mainly three or five two-meter-long sea rods per person, and hand rods and hand lines are also acceptable. My fishing rod is usually a three-wheeled sea rod and a one-meter-long bamboo hand rod. The hand pole is simple: one pole, one line, one drop and one hook. This thread is 20 meters long and can be wound around the handle. Fishing eels at the tip of the sea pole is thicker than usual, because eels have the habit of running away with their tails upside down after being hooked, and the brake hook is easy to unhook when it is light. If the pole tip is slightly thicker, the brake hook can be used with appropriate force. Eel's head is very tough, and there will be no hooks and mouths. The front end of the bamboo pole tip should be the thickness of bamboo chopsticks, and the FRP tip can be slightly thinner.

Use No.304 or No.303 hook, the hook tip should be sharp and the barb should not be too short. The fishing line uses 0.5 mm main line and 0.4 mm hook line, and the hook line is 30 cm long, not too long. Generally, each pole should be tied with a hook, and the hook of the sea pole should be tied to a drop of three or four centimeters. Don't tie the hook too high, otherwise it will affect the fishing rate. The hook of the hand pole should be tied to the bottom of the pendant, and the weight of the lead fishing pendant should be about100g.

Bait: The commonly used baits of Qingdao fishermen are: sand food, tube food, flat food, water food and so on. Among these baits, flat food is the best for fishing eels, followed by sand food and flat food (rock worms), with bright red body color, sparkling light and strong bloody smell, which is the best bait for fishing eels. You can use flat food and hook to catch eels. When there is little fish food, eels will take the bait even if they hang on the hook for a short time. When there is no flat food, you can use raw sand food (Nereis). More than ten centimeters of sand food is hung on a hook, and a tail is exposed at the tip of the hook. This is also a good bait.

Weather: There is no special requirement for the weather when fishing for eels. Whether it is sunny or cloudy, windy or rainy, eels will bite from all directions. As long as the waves don't roll and the vertical boat is unstable, you can fish. Sometimes, when the weather is good, fish don't take the bait very much, but when the weather is bad, they fish frequently.

At present, when fishing eel, we should catch running water, but it is not easy to catch eel when the high tide is flat and dry. Small running water can be used for fishing, and the big spring tide does not prevent the eel from eating, but when it runs in the big water, it eats fiercely, indicating that the pole tip moves greatly. Sometimes, with the help of the current, an eel weighing less than half a catty will drag the fishing rod into the sea. The flowing eel bites the hook, the tip of the pole moves lightly or does not move, and the hook line is often entangled into a ball, but the fish does not bite. At this time, the hook line can be made as short as 10 cm, and the fish will appear at the tip of the pole as soon as it bites the hook.

Fishing method: The most important thing for anglers to catch eels is to understand the habit of eels going upstream in the dark and looking for smells and bait by their sense of smell. Can sea fishing nest? Especially in ocean currents? Yes, another form can be used as bait. When fishing, several sea poles are hung with fish food and thrown twenty or thirty meters in front of the boat. The scouring of the water flow will naturally make the bait close inward and make the smell of the bait spread forward. Soon, eels will follow the smell to find bait. In the process of fishing, you can also throw the broken fish food that is not suitable for taking the bait into the water in front of the boat. After the fish is hooked, you can also throw the rotten bait on the hook and throw it in front of the boat. This not only plays the role of nesting to lure fish, but also makes eels who eat these fish foods relax their vigilance and eat the bait on the hook with confidence.

After the bait is put into the water for the first time, the eel will not bite the hook immediately, even if it bites by accident. Generally speaking, eels will arrive one after another after ten minutes. There are many fish, and many catch fish one after another. If fish is not served in one place for half an hour, you should consider changing places. If you catch a few fish in one place and wait for dozens of minutes without any fish, you should also find a place. Generally, the fishing point should be moved at least 50 to 60 meters to the left and right along the current direction, or further moved to the back of the ship. The fish in front of the boat has been caught, and the rest will become very difficult. When changing places, don't look at other boats fishing well, just anchor near that boat, thinking that you can get good results. Actually not, because the fish in a large area in front of his boat were lured to his boat, even if they were not caught. If he uses flat food on the boat and I use sand food on the boat, I can only be a spectator. At this time, you should keep your distance and find a place where there are no boats in front or behind.

Finally, talk about the use of the hand lever. Hand fishing is sometimes not as good as sea pole fishing. Its disadvantage is that it is easy to mess up the lines on the ship with line stakes. Its advantages are lightness, sensitivity, quick decoupling and high fishing rate. After the bait is placed vertically on the rod, you can hold the right hand of the rod and lift the rod up and down. Bait swaying in the water, as if swimming in a boat, even if the fish found it, it is also suitable for the spread of smell.

It is better to throw the bait on the sea pole and catch the fish on the sea pole with a hand pole. Some eels follow the smell of bait upstream, sometimes missing the target and crossing the fishing point. At this time, throwing the hand-held bait near the bow will definitely gain something.

When the running water is large, the handle will be free vertically, and falling objects will make the running water unable to reach the ground. You can put a long line properly and put the pole firmly on the boat. When the tip of the pole moves, hold the pole in your hand, and immediately lift the pole and peel the hook when you feel it. This is a shoo-in. When the tide falls into the running water, fishing with a sea pole often doesn't bring off the line, and the fish doesn't bite the tip of the pole easily. At this time, you can put away the sea pole and lift the hook with a special hand pole. It's best to add a hand pole, one in each hand and two hooks, one long and one short, which can be tied to each pole to catch eels. Don't hurry to lift the rod when the fish bites the hook. Serve first, wait a while, and then try to lift it slowly. When you feel that the fishing rod is moving or your hands feel heavy, quickly peel the fish off the hook, put down the fishing rod, and take turns lifting the line with both hands to lift the fish onto the boat.
