Come to Longyan Changting on May Day to experience the different smoky gray color of the world

Changting, known as Tingzhou in ancient times, is located in Longyan, Fujian. It has been the capital of Hakkas in western Fujian for more than a thousand years, and is known as Fujian's Little Phoenix and Red Little Shanghai. Transportation: Self-driving or high-speed train, take the bus to Changting South Station

Paid attractions: Wolong Academy, A combined ticket for the four attractions including Baxi Pavilion, Dafudi and Jichuanmen is 88 yuan.

Wolong Academy: The oldest academy in Tingzhou. There is an ancient residential building donated by Jackie Chan, the Dragon Academy and pavilions. Some ladies wore Hanfu to take pictures.

Baxi Pavilion: a three-and-a-half-story Hakka horse racing building, which condenses the eight happy events in the life of the Hakka people.

Da Fu Di: Known as the No. 1 Carved Building in Fujian, wood carvings, stone carvings, and brick carvings can be seen everywhere. Facing the Tingjiang River, you can also enjoy the scenery of the Tingjiang River and the other side.

Jichuan Gate: The best place to watch the night view. The lights turn on at around six o'clock in the evening, and you can have a panoramic view of the night scenery on both sides of the city wall.

Diantou Street: An ancient street (a commercial street found in every scenic spot) with several high-rated shops located here. You can stop by while eating.

Sanyuan Pavilion: a landmark building, Sanyuan means Zhuangyuan, Huiyuan and Jieyuan. There are local grandparents sitting and chatting in the city gate. You can go up to the city tower, but there is nothing to see from it.

Changting County Museum: the original Tingzhou Examination Institute (Ji Xiaolan presided over the scientific examination here), the former site of the Fujian Provincial Soviet Government. There are displays of Hakka culture, Changting Revolutionary History, where Zhai Qiubai was imprisoned, double cypresses of the Tang Dynasty, etc. The location is opposite Sanyuan Pavilion and it is free, but please note the opening hours. It is closed from 12:00 to 15:00.

Food: Changting is the hometown of Hakka cuisine. Special snacks include dustpan boards (similar to rice rolls), soaked pork loin (it is said that one restaurant has the best), river chicken, taro dumplings, and beef. Dou Tang etc. Baxi Restaurant, Zui Chunfeng, and Seven Star Restaurant on Diantou Street are all good Hakka restaurants.
