Brief introduction of French proficiency test
French entry-level standard
Swiss public universities usually have entrance language tests to test the language proficiency of foreign students. In addition, the French Cultural Association (Alliance fran? Aise) and the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, France, are also recognized by Swiss universities (please refer to the relevant article "Admission Conditions for International Students in Swiss National Universities" for the minimum admission language level required by universities). At present, the commonly used standard for measuring French proficiency is the same frame of reference of European languages, and the language proficiency is divided into six grades: A 1 C2 from low to high. In principle, Swiss public universities require illegal native speakers to have at least B2 or C 1 French proficiency.
