French entry-level standard

B2 Diploma in French Studies

Written test (time: 150 minutes)

A. Listen for 30 minutes: Listen to two recordings and answer this question (a recording explaining information and a radio program).

B. Reading comprehension for 60 minutes: Read two articles of about 500 words and answer questions according to the contents of the articles.

C.60 minutes written expression: write an argumentative essay and an official letter.

Oral test (preparation time is 30 minutes, examination time is 10- 15 minutes)

Comment according to the proposition (analyze the problem, explain the point of view and defend the position)

Diploma in French studies C 1(DALFC 1)

Written test (240 minutes)

A. Listening comprehension for 40 minutes: Listen to 2 recordings and answer questions (make multiple choices according to an interview or meeting recording of about 8 minutes, and answer questions according to several broadcast short messages of 10 minutes).

B. Reading comprehension for 50 minutes: Read 1 about 1500-2000 words, and answer questions according to the content of the article.

C written expression 150 minutes: choose a composition in the direction of arts and sciences (1000 words for two articles, 220 words for an overview and 250 words for a comment).

Oral test (preparation time 60 minutes, examination time 20-30 minutes)

Make comments according to the essay (choose one of arts and sciences) and discuss with the examiner.

C2 Diploma in French Studies

Listening comprehension and oral expression (preparation time is 60 minutes, examination time is 20-30 minutes, choose one of arts and sciences)
