There is a hexagonal pyramid-shaped roof pavilion with double eaves on Yanziji, and the bright yellow glazed tiles are very eye-catching. This is the Imperial Monument Pavilion. The "Yanziji" on the stone tablet in the pavilion was written by Emperor Qianlong in regular script, hence the name Royal Monument Pavilion. Historically, Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong visited Yanziji many times when they went to the south of the Yangtze River. They not only wrote inscriptions for Yanziji, but also left several imperial poems.

Many people jumped to their deaths here, leaving endless pain for their loved ones.

1927, Tao Xingzhi, a famous educator who was establishing Xiaozhuang Normal School in Nanjing at that time, learned of this situation and initiated the erection of a warning and exhortation monument in Yanziji, so that many people who committed suicide here chose to continue to face life at the last minute. The monument was originally made of wood, but it was later changed to stone carving.

Jiuzunshi

The mountain of Yanziji is mostly conglomerate, which has been severely weathered for a long time, leaving many holes in the mountain. The so-called "wine bottle stone" is a stone shaped like an ancient wine vessel. Because Li Bai, a great poet in history, did come to Yanziji, and once left the title wall of "swallowing the river and getting drunk", later generations linked the great poet with this "wine bottle stone" and interpreted a very touching legend.
