How long does the interview process of a company take?

The longest interview I have ever attended is five rounds, and all the supervisors have passed one by one. For me, more interviews are actually unnecessary. It's basically a process. This company is a bit famous, with many businesses and good financing. I just graduated from college, and I am bent on finding a job that can get started. This position is a technical support engineer, requiring a bachelor degree or above, a certain computer technology foundation, good communication skills and so on. I thought I met this requirement, so I found this company.

The recruitment process of the company is to interview the written test first, then the personnel, then the department and then the team. There will be different interviewers in each round of interviews, ranging from basic technical issues to personal abilities and personality traits. Every interview, I have carefully prepared and tried to show my strength and advantages, but I regret failure every time.

I wonder, what kind of talents are they looking for? As I am a technical support engineer, I am also looking for this position on the recruitment website. Then, I interviewed this company, why did I interview so many times?

My friend told me that this company may need to measure the time and ability of employees to complete tasks, that is, KPi, and these interview rounds may just be to measure and "capture" the KPI of employees more accurately.
