Mulan's humanistic history of spring rising

People who have made contributions to the people will always live in their hearts. As early as Song Yuanyou's reign (186-194), the people of Putian set up a temple on the side of Mulanbei to worship, and in the seventh year of Chunyou's reign (1248), they gave it the "Xieying Temple". During Yuan Yanyou's reign (1314-132), he moved to this site. Xieying Temple, also known as Li Hong Temple, is located next to Huilan Bridge on the south side of Mulanbei. It is dedicated to the statues of Li Hong, Lin Congshi, Feng Zhiri and Qian Siniang, the sages of Jianbei, and the tablets of 14 meritorious people. In 1995, the government allocated funds for reconstruction and expansion, and the Mulan memorial hall was built on the right side. In front of the museum, a stele gallery was built, and 14 inscriptions on Mulan's poems and tablets built by Guo Moruo were erected.

It is said that after the completion of Mulanbei, Zen Master Zhiri threw a bowl into the sea, took the bowl as a boat and drifted away. This myth shows that the Zen master retired after success regardless of fame and fortune. Virtue is never paid, and it is especially worthy of being remembered by future generations. In the 37th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (169), a temple of Zen Master Feng was built in Yushang Village, north of the head of Mulanbei, dedicated to Zen Master Zhiri, but it was abandoned due to years. In 1993, overseas Chinese monks and local people of insight joined forces to build the Zhiri Memorial Hall. The memorial hall is located on the north bank of Beishou, facing the Li Hong Temple across the vicious circle, which clearly shows the great cause of Mulan.

In spring, the Mulan stream rises at the beginning, and the surface of the upper stream is wide and level as a mirror, and the Shan Ye flower trees on both sides of the river are reflected in it, which is full of interest. The overflowing spring water flows down the dam, forming a waterfall, and the snow is thundering, which is another scene. "Mulan Spring Rise" has been listed as one of the "24 Scenes of Putian" since ancient times. Today, the 356-meter-long double siphon is shaped like a double dragon, dancing on the stream, making the scenery of Mulan more spectacular.

"Mulan, a clear stream, has been spreading beautiful poems for thousands of years. Who founded the public and forgot the private, so far humanity is Qian Wei. " (Guo Moruo's Poems) For thousands of years, people have cherished the pioneering spirit of Si Niang, the sacrifice spirit of our ancestors, and the dedication of our predecessors to benefit their descendants at the expense of their own lives. For thousands of years, people have helped the old and brought the young, came to Mulanbei, paid tribute to the historic sites, missed the sages and reveled in the beautiful scenery in front of them. It is found that the spring in Xinghua Plain begins here, and this majestic monument brings eternal spring to Puyang. The human landscape and the natural landscape here are so exciting and inspiring. This landscape is 4 kilometers south of Putian City and east of Fuxia Highway. Mulanbei is one of the most intact ancient large-scale water conservancy projects in China, and it is a national key cultural relics protection unit.
