Which college student who considers himself successful talks about his college experience?

My university was not very successful, but I felt very happy because I defeated myself. Share it here.

Before I went to college, I didn’t like communicating with others because of my stuttering, and I felt very inferior. After I went to college, I decided that I would never be like this again, and I had to find a way to change myself. So when I was a freshman, I signed up for the Speech and Eloquence Volunteer Association of our college. At first I was still afraid of speaking, and even more afraid of speaking in front of so many people in public. But our minister always encouraged me and supported me. So I recorded the speeches of many famous people, and I often got up every morning to practice pronunciation in the playground. Hard work paid off. After a year of training, I finally overcame my biggest enemy in life - stuttering! From now on communicating with people is no longer a problem.

My sophomore year I decided to minor in finance as my second major (my first major was clinical medicine). At that time, there were only a few people in our department applying. Although medicine and finance are very different and I have to learn everything from scratch, I am still determined to work hard to overcome it.

At the same time, as a supplement to my ability to treat others, I ran for the president of the student union of the college. Although I only won a vice chairmanship, I got a good opportunity to exercise. At this time, many boys wanted to invade my private life, but after careful consideration, I still did not accept any of them. Listening to my roommates talking on the phone with their boyfriends at night, I was really envious. But I still control myself and don’t let this kind of thing take over my life prematurely. At least it shouldn’t be the theme of college life.

In my spare time, I also do some tutoring and odd jobs. Look at the world outside.

The junior year is coming soon. I have to put everything aside and review my professional courses. While my classmates were addicted to the Internet or falling in love, I was either in the library or in the laboratory all day long. In these two places, I spent a busy junior year.

The senior year that people call sheep herding is coming soon. No one is in the mood to deal with the teacher's spit star anymore. Those who were related had already gone to work in the hospital, and others were renting a house outside the school with their significant other to enjoy their two-person world. The rest had no intention of reading any more, but I was preparing for my thesis defense. I had already finished my thesis when the director of the Employment Office notified me to go to a unit for an interview. I don’t know if it was because of the director, but I applied for the job smoothly right after I arrived!

The hot July has arrived, and so has my long-awaited degree certificate. The difference with them is that I have one more professional certificate than them.

I have made rapid progress in my unit, and the leader has decided to train me as a probationary party member. All this is due to my university studies. I think that in college you should not only learn professional knowledge, but more importantly, learn how to be a human being.
