People's Republic of China (PRC) Marine Police Law

Article 1 This Law is formulated in order to standardize and guarantee the performance of duties by the marine police, safeguard national sovereignty, security and maritime rights and interests, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, legal persons and other organizations. Article 2 The maritime police force of the People's Armed Police Force, that is, the marine police agency, shall uniformly perform the duties of key law enforcement in maritime rights protection.
