What is Miao dance?

Miao people have different customs and artistic features of singing and dancing. In Guizhou, the songs and dances of Miao people living in southeastern Guizhou are more colorful, lively and rough. So what is Miao dance?

1, Wood Drum Dance is Gujiangfang. The sacrificial dance of Bai and Miao nationalities takes wooden drums as the only accompaniment instrument. Drummers beat to form complex and changeable dance music. The rhythm is four or six beats.

There are five kinds of dance movements: one is a bit auspicious. Second, the south is slightly lonely. Three is a little bigger. Four days is slightly higher. Five days is slightly higher than escaping. The biggest feature of wooden drum dance is madness. The forehand movements are rough and wild everywhere, free and easy. Wood drum dance shows the course and spirit of Miao ancestors' migration.
