Sometimes my mother entrusts her neighbor's grandmother in her sixties to take care of us. The grandmother also helps her son look after three grandchildren. At that time, no one was very rich, and the problem of food and clothing was not completely solved. Every time we go to grandma's house, he will give us porridge, so that we won't be hungry. Their grandchildren will share what they eat, and we will dress their grandchildren when they are cold.

But parents dare not let grandma take care of our sisters, because her son and daughter-in-law don't say anything on the surface, but they must have been thinking for a long time. Sometimes parents are basically not at home during the day, so we can only let ourselves stay at home. We often have a full meal on an empty stomach. Neighbors and grandmothers saw it, so they secretly filled porridge from home, or gave us some sweet potatoes to eat, and then let us go home.
